In the Psionics Unleashed book it says that in a null psionics field a soulknife can attempt to keep his blade by making a will save and if the save succeeds the soulknife keeps the blade, BUT it is now treated as a non-magical, masterwork weapon as long as it's in that field.
I'm a 19th level soulknife (actually armored blade) and of course we're fighting high level enemies, so if an enemy used a null psionics field and could only be injured using magical weapons, I feel like even at 19th level, I would be screwed and rendered totally useless in that or any subsequent battles with the same effects.
My question is, at this high of a level, is there anything I can do to actually be able to fight these high level enemies without having to carry a bunch of other weapons on me (which I feel kind of defeats the purpose of having a special weapon at my disposal at all times) and without trying to stand outside the field and throwing the blade the whole battle?
Thanks.

Well for one, the rest of your party is just as screwed. Null Psionics is Anti-Magic and vice versa.
You're assuming the DM is using magic/psionics transparency. That's not necessarily the case.
To the OP... what you're facing is the occupational hazard on building yourself entirely around a single gimmick.

True, I kind of knew what I was getting into when I created the character (never liked dual classing, or changing until I hit epic, though). However, I thought (or hoped) that at a higher level, there would be some kind of change or loophole. Luckily the null psionics hasn't happened yet, but it is somewhat worrisome. I only hope my DM treats magic and psionics the same for the field, should he ever use it. If not, and my weapon would do no damage, I guess I am screwed out of my mindblade, but I do have some magical great swords I picked up from fallen enemies, so all is not totally lost. I just don't like that the primary weapon made for a specific class can be rendered useless, even at epic, or almost epic levels.

Unless otherwise stated, Transparency is the assumed default.
Also, is there anything you won't climb onto a high horse about?

Assuming transparency, those enchanted weapons also won't be magical inside the field. Same with throwing stuff in there.

I'd question *how* someone is only able to be damaged by magical weapons. That sounds suspiciously like a (SU) ability, which would also be suppressed by the field.
