Unchained Barbarian Build Help

Advice

Hello, our party is composed by, we're all level 7

- Oracle of Life
- Wizard Battlefield controller/buffer/summoner
- Unchained Rogue Pirate
- Barbarian

I wanted to make a durable martial guy who can deal damage.

My build is the following
Invulnerable Rager
Dwarf

STR 18
DEX 12
CON 14 + 2
INT 10
WIS 10 + 2
CHA 7 - 2

Feats
1- Power Attack
3-
5- Steel Soul
7-

Powers
2- Accurate Stance
4-
6- Renewed Vitality

I can't figure out which other Rage Powers/Feat to take that will help me with my build idea.

I wanted to have a really though guy on the front line who can charge in and ignore most of the damage dished out to him.
I'm taking the Accurate Stance to ignore the PA -hit and help me on always hitting the enemy, no matter his AC.

He has pretty decent Saves, we're talking about Fort 15 REF-WILL 9 with a cape of resistance +2 included.

I'm aware my AC will be extremely low, but I'm hoping Invulnerable Rager will help on that, and the Oracle as well.

If you can give me some ideas it will be great.
Tried also looking at Stalwart line of feats, but I'm not sure if I'm going to make it considering all the feats that it requires.

I'm using Unchained Barbarian because I'm rolling 2 PCs, the Wizard and the barbarian.
I need simplicity with the Temporary hit points.
We're also running the Pirate Campaign of the Shackles.

Can you guys help me?
I'm really open to suggestions as long as we keep the Unchained version.

Hm. I wonder if Ironhide works with Beast Totem stuff. Beast Totem powers are considered valid for Unchained. The first power isn't that great, but the second is a nice bit of natural armour.

Deadly Accuracy and Scent might be good too, for rage powers. (I don't think there's a feat for dwarves to pick it up.)

Superstition is always a solid rage power chain

The upgrades to accurate stance are pretty solid too

Grand Lodge

Superstition and witch hunter are good powers.

Sorry for not replying earlier, I thought the thread was dead and didn't bother.

Do you guys think Superstition is still good in Unchained?

Thing is that if I'm raging I'm saving against my Allys Spells, is that worth it?

At level 7 Superstition gives me a +3 to Saves, which is Huge considering my Saves are

Fort 15 + 3
Ref 9 + 3
Will 9 + 3

My issue with this is what if I need help and can't receive healing spells or something?

I'm gonna try it, it's a really powerful power.

I'm NOT sold on Witch Hunter, I only suppress 1 effect for 1 round on a crit, it doesn't seem so valuable unless I have a crit build.

I'm the primary damage dealer, I thought for a while to go the Stalwart route, but I can't afford it, so, what other things should I take to be dealing tons of damage?

Do you guys think a dip into Unarmed Fighter is worth to get Imp Unarmed Strike and use a Reach Weapon and do not worry about adjacent squares to threaten?

I love the idea of hitting from afar, but having to switch weapons is a killer, plus I'd need to enchant more than 1 weapon and it gets expensive.

Witch hunter is solid due to -Everyone and his mother having some sla, so it's basically +free damage vs half the bestiary.

For superstition it depends on party composition, but I generally wait until the caster opens up with haste and then rage.

If you are using the unchained updated rules, including the new stamina system, consider picking up combat stamina. Among allowing you to boost some feats, you count as having Int 13 for feats like combat expertise (requisite for stalwart)

Do you always have a barbarian in the group? If so what type of barbarian is he?

I suggest the stalwart/improved stalwart line. Maybe a dip in un breakable fighter For diehard and endurance (to pick up the pre reqs for stalwart). Personally I'm a huge fan of sleeping in medium armor as my games always have us attacked at night.

Stalwart is great, but if I take it, Ill need Snake Style to fight defensively with -2 only, otherwise it's -4 for +3 DR.

And if I go unbreakable I can't go unarmed fighter, so I still need lots of fears I can't afford

You can go combat expertise with stalwart which is a 1 for 1 trade in penalty for dr. later doubling via improved stalwart. So -4 for 8 dr that stacks with your class dr. You can also take the threatening defender trait that reduces the penalty when using combat expertise by 1.

The unbreakable fighter was more of a way to get 2 for 1 in feats. But not necessary.

But doesn't Combat Expertise require int 13 (which I don't have)?

Oh, you're referring to Stamina thing, I see

Oh I didn't even see your Int. But combat stamina works as a work around. You have such a low Dex though, that it will limit the usefulness of the Taunting stance later on significantly.
