Dr. Vanadium and Other Atrocities

Some time ago, a friend of mine who I've know for near my entire life decided to GM his own campaign. It was his first time, so there were a handful of bumps and hiccups, and he wanted to make sure that he didn't accidentally kill us all. Without going into detail, suffice to say that we all had abnormally high ability scores. Now, I, being a proper bastard, took this as an opportunity to see how min/max-ey I could make a character. Enter: Doctor Vanadium. An alchemist with the Vivisectionist archetype and Feral Mutagen. The campaign was to have a Halloween theme, so to ice the powergaming cake, I took a Great Sword of Undead's Bane. With my nightmare of an alchemist and great sword of superior meta-gaming we set off.

Myself and the other strength build (we also had a rogue and ranger, but they didn't put out quite as much damage as either of us) were cleaving and power attacking our way through the setting, and things were going pretty well. I was doing a lot of damage, but nothing too game breaking. Then we got to the final battle. The final boss didn't quite have Megaman-boss-hallway-syndrome, but it might as well have. As a result, I was able to apply Bull's Strength and my Mutagen before the fight even began. I spent the next few rounds using buffs until I became a large sized creature with 10 feet of reach and over 30 strength. The rogue had gotten behind the boss, allowing me to get my sneak attack off on my attacks, and I then proceeded to do more damage in 2 rounds than the rest of the party combined could have done in 4.

I felt obligated to share this monster who has since become something of a running joke in my group with the world, and I'd also love to hear what other people have done to make their GMs or players cry.

Dr. Vanadium's Character Sheet

Aw yes, welcome to the forum, my comrade in beardery.

Dr. Vanadium is quite something to behold.

This is the other STR build. It was terrifying.
I don't know if we actually saved the person we needed to or not. All I know is we busted out of the demon house atop the back of a 30 foot tall furry.
Was a good Halloween.

Welcome also to the forum, my large dwarven friend.

I wonder if Beastmorph would not have been good to add... i mean, getting the ability to Pounce, rend, and rake seems pretty helpful... also flight, scent, ect are always useful when you need ut :p

Dear god. I love it.

Yeah, beastmorph+vivisectionist are a very common "broken" combo because you can decimate people lol.

I'm having trouble making heads or tails from that sheet. What is the build exactly? I'm getting vivisectionist alchemist elf with probably rolled stats (or are these stats with buffs already thrown in?)

extremely overpowered vivisectionist horror, who is more organ transplant than man.

The stats were indeed rolled, but the GM in question was also really generous. He said we take one 10, one 20, and for the rest of our stats, you roll 4d6, and reroll the lowest number. (In case it's not clear, the lowest die is not dropped. Those are full 4d6 stats). Naturally this lead to ridiculously inflated stats.

This monstrosity slaughtered his way throughout the entire adventure with his greatsword of superior metagaming undead bane (the GM said it would be a halloween-themed adventure, after all), and leveled the final boss in just two hits.
