Clarification on Skeletons

Rules Questions

When you raise a corpse as a Skeleton, I understand it looses all class die and special abilities. Does racial fall into that? Even if they are natural attacks?

In a homebrew, I play a undead lord cleric. My party and I defeated two fire giants this past session, but I'm unsure if they would keep the Rock and Slam attacks when animated.

Attacks: A skeleton retains all the natural weapons, manufactured weapon attacks, and weapon proficiencies of the base creature, except for attacks that can't work without flesh. A creature with hands gains one claw attack per hand; the skeleton can strike with each of its claw attacks at its full attack bonus.

So, a Fire Giant should retain its slam and rock throw attacks and gain 2 claw attacks.

From the skeleton template: "A skeleton retains all the natural weapons, manufactured weapon attacks, and weapon proficiencies of the base creature" So, I´d say the giant skeletons would keep the rock and slam attacks (is that a new expression for headbanging, btw? ;-))

Thank you! :)
