Welcome! This is an accelerated PbP run for Black Waters (#0-06), which has a sequel in the new season called School of Spirits [1-5].
If you are signed up for the latter and want to experience the original, join us! I do ask that you only sign up, though, if you are ready to rock now, and can post multiple times per day in order that we finish on time. If you cannot keep up, you may get left behind in the Drownyard....
Please post here with your

Also, please have your status bar reflecting current HP, AC, and saves, and have your character posted in a way that I can quickly review it as needed. (Generally, I prefer it part of your alias rather than a link elsewhere, but as long as I can get to it).
We will be moving pretty fast! (Well, fast for PbP....)
Player Name: Chris Marsh
Character Name: Nemis of Sothis
PFS#: 1824-20
Faction: Scarab Sages
Perception: +6
Initiative: +2
My profile will be completely up to date by this afternoon. First time PbP for this character, so I don't have him ready. (Level 1 Psychic.) Depending on the other characters I could also bring a level 2 Skald or level 1 Unchained Rogue.
I can definitely post often (slight slow down once school starts next week, but "slowed down" is still easily 4-5 times daily.)
Male Halfling | Neutral Good Witch 5 | HP 32 | AC 13 | T 12 | FF 12 | Fort +3 | Ref +5 (+7) | Will +5 | CMB 0 CMD 11 | Init +5 | Perc +9(+11) | Move 30' | Current Conditions and Modifiers: Familiar close
I'm up for a fast game. I enjoyed your Mists run. I am level 3 now, but i can be updated by tonight if accepted. Edit: NM can't use the RoRL sheet yet so still 2 and ready to roll. I will jump to 4 with one more session.

Faction: Grand Lodge

Welcome back, N'Haaz-aua - I added you to the signup.
Chris - I am interested to see your Psychic! I had one in playtest, and it was fun but he was too weak (dumped Str too low), so I reworked him to something else. But I like the class.
Erevan Stormstride looks good. I was just contemplating using dueling sword with an investigator I have, so will be interested to see someone using it.
Also, let me know if you (your character) is interested in completing one of the faction missions. These are no longer tied to prestige (meaning if you complete the primary objective, you will get 2 PP), but if you would like to for fun (or to help with a faction card check), I am happy to use them.
For now he looks like a sorcerer. It's level 2 it'll start to look different, but I'm really digging him thus far. I'll definitely play him. Profile ready by 1700 EST
I'd love to round out this group with my cleric, but he's just now wrapping up another scenario. If we get done with that one before this game starts, I'd love to use him; otherwise, I can bring a swashbuckler or a helpful halfling bard. Any preferences?
Well, Kon Kon, you make #7. Not quite enough to split to two tables, but an awfully large crowd for a season 0 scenario. If we get another volunteer, I am happy to split the group to run two tables. (I am not sure how to report that, though, but I am pretty sure it shouldn't be an issue.)
It is legal to have 7, so if no one else chimes in before 5pm EST, and if no one objects, I think we can do 7. Most of the characters are level 1, so it should be ok power-wise.
When are you looking to start this game, Fuzzfoot? If you're in a hurry, I'll just bring one of my characters that's ready right now instead of waiting for my cleric to finish his current scenario.
Male Halfling | Neutral Good Witch 5 | HP 32 | AC 13 | T 12 | FF 12 | Fort +3 | Ref +5 (+7) | Will +5 | CMB 0 CMD 11 | Init +5 | Perc +9(+11) | Move 30' | Current Conditions and Modifiers: Familiar close
I'm trying for primary and secondary success so I can check my box as this will be number 3. Barring that I just need a dc 15 int check to complete the reporting.
Well, I was already to hit the ground running, and my inernet (and cable) has been out for 6 hours now... finally figured out how to tether to my phone!
I think we are ready to start, though, so I don't know if you need hours or days for the cleric, Headfirst, but if it is days, then maybe better to switch.
Male Half-elf UC Barbarian 4/ranger 2 | AC: 20/15/[20] (18/13/[18]) | HP 61/69 | CMB +10, CMD 22 | Fort +10, Ref +6, Will +4 | Init +2 | Perc +12 (+1 vs surprise) | Rage: 8/14
Attack:
2 claws +13 (1d8+13/x2), bite +8 (1d4+11)
By the way, it so happens that we're starting the night before I move into a new house. That being the case, I don't know how much I can post tomorrow. But after that I'm good for more than once a day.
Male Human Occultist 1, HP 11/11; AC 15, Touch 11, FF 14; Fort +4, Ref +1, Will +4; Init +1; Perception +4 (+2 situational) | Focus (Skull 3/3, Sword 2/3) | spells (1st: 0/2)
Arriving late, fresh from the newest book!
Sadly Mavaro's picture is not avaiable as an avatar yet. So here he is in all his Hamlet glory:

Faction: Dark Archive, I guess?
Perception: +4
Initiative: +1
Will take a moment to get his stats into the profile.
OK, so I have a plan, but feel free to jump on me if it isn't cool for everyone...
We will keep together for now, but then when you head for the gate, we will break into 2 groups of 4. These older scenarios were pretty much designed for 4 anyway, so I think you will be ok. I will setup the second table as a new gameplay group, but we will keep the same discussion group.
For splitting, I was really just going to take first 4 and last 4, but given Spooner's comments, I think swapping him to table two with the barbarian and bloodrage, and bringing Kon Kon to table one in place might work best. It also looks like that will give us one psionic at each table.
Fair enough? Sorry this got messy, but it was a rushed recruitment, and I didn't want to leave anyone out.
Which ever table finishes first gets an award! (No, not really, but I guess there is bragging rights...)
If anyone hates this approach, feel free to PM me and let me have it :)
Male Human Occultist 1, HP 11/11; AC 15, Touch 11, FF 14; Fort +4, Ref +1, Will +4; Init +1; Perception +4 (+2 situational) | Focus (Skull 3/3, Sword 2/3) | spells (1st: 0/2)
I'd like a faction mission myself, if there are any interesting ones :).
As they are optional anyway, feel free to pick the one that fits best for a man who is running at top speed towards all that is occult and strange - hoping to find new forbidden knowledge. No need to remain a slave to the faction to factions that don't exist anymore in the same form.
Hi! I see that you really just started the thread on table 2.
I would be happy to play this scenario with Tametomo, fighter 1 and paladin 1. :)
I had the chance to GM Black Waters but not to play it. It would be a real pleasure!
Mavaro and Crowe - since you played pre-gens, I need a character number for the character you want to apply this credit to. (I don't think I need anything special otherwise). I believe this needs to be a 1st level credit, since that is the lowest this scenario allows, but if you don't have one, you can create a new character for purposes of assigning the credit.
This is my first time doing a chronicle for a pre-gen, but I am pretty sure I have read it correctly. Of course, if anyone knows better, shout it out! Thanks!
