Who are your rebels?

Hell's Rebels

101 to 127 of 127 << first < prev | 1 | 2 | 3 | next > last >>

I have in my group, a Ratfolk Alley Witch, a Tiefling Urban Ranger, a Tiefling Alchemist, a Human Sorcerer with a Rakshasa bloodline and a Human Swashbuckler. I'm looking forward to breaking them :p

Does she literally start the game as an inquisitor without class features?

The GM narrated a small prologue before the protest at Aria park and I believe she indeed lost her spells but regained them by joining with the faith of Milani (Shelyn references in her backstory were actually Milani ones, which I didn't know).

RPG Superstar 2013 Top 8

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Hugin: male tengu rogue (scout archetype). A street rat and conspiracy theorist, came to the Aria Park protest in order to pick pockets but got caught up in the whirlwind of the Silver Ravens due to his brother Munin (see below). Obsessed with unraveling the mystery of the Devil's Bells and proud possessor of a painting of a mothman.

Munin: male tengu fighter (lore warden archetype). Munin made good before Hugin did, having broken into the Alabaster Academy, been caught and offered a job rather than be reported. Munin befriended Rexus Victocora during his tutelage at the Alabaster Academy and was among the first the young noble contacted after the Night of Ashes. Munin is a noted scholar in his own right, especially on matters tied to the Temple Street Slasher.

Reynard, the Scarlet Fox: male kitsune mesmerist. Reynard was a rebel before the formation of the Silver Ravens, using his charms and disguises to assume a number of shifting identities to catch criminals and thwart corruption. The Scarlet Fox, a masked and dashing vigilante, is his most notable alias. He is something of a populist figure, and his influence has been key in growing support for the Silver Ravens in Old Kintargo.

Yvaine: female half-elf witch (winter patron). Yvaine is something of a diva, both literally and figuratively, but her big break was sabotaged by the coming of Barzillai Thrune and the seizure of Kintargo's opera house. She is one of Madame Docur's proteges, and has been tasked by the Lacunafex to build and monitor the Silver Ravens while Mme. Docur keeps a low profile and protects her students. Her familiar is a tiny fluffy dog named Pringles McCringles, who rarely leaves her side.

Mikhail Fastmender: male tiefling cleric of Sarenrae. Mikhail outwardly lives up to many of the bad stereotypes of tieflings in the Devil's Nursery, being both greedy and drunken. His acquisitiveness, however, is for funds to support the Cloven Hoof Society, where he helps operate a free clinic, and he drinks to forget the ritual sacrifice of his brother in the Temple of Asmodeus, a fate which he narrowly avoided.

Pringles reminds me of a druid character who I read about that had a big poodle with a horrible poofy haircut as a companion.

My Skype group has finally started hammering out their Hell's Rebels group for once we finish Runelords, though we might take a small break from Runelords once they finish the Runeforge and run through the first third or half of Hell's Rebels.

And here are our rebels:
Kyōfu Aulamaxa, a half-orc Skald born of a rather... wild party in which a daughter of House Aulamaxa dallied with an Orcish Gladiator of some renown. Don't insult her mother, she'll feed your head to your derrière if you do. Her Trait is Child of Kintargo.

Vogal Shemat, the half-sister of Kyōfu and born the same time. Seems that drunken party? Involved... another. Shemat is a changeling, with greenish skin. She's a Magical Child Vigilante with a feathery companion, the sardonic and constantly-suffering raven Mr. Midnight Puff. (She got him when she was 8.) Her Trait is Urban Sleuth, with a fascination with the Silver Ravens.

Sophiona, a fetchling of a minor noble house who is a Mysterious Avenger Swashbuckler. She has a thing for shadows, attacking from dark corners, and righting wrongs... and I like to think her parents actually know but have decided to let her walk her own path. Besides, Kintargo is a city of free thinkers. ;) Her Trait is Child of Kintargo.

Leopold "Jimmy" Skivven, a ratfolk who isn't quite right in the head, thinks he's a gnome and King Under the Mountain, rides enchanted human-sized alchemical armor (basically as if under an Enlarge spell with his riding inside the mobile full plate), and an Alchemist/War Priest of Desna (who started giving Leopold spellcasting abilities after a bet with Cayden Cailean started her down this insane and amusing path. His Trait is Natural Born Leader.

And last we have the GMPC, Suzume, a Kitsune White Mage Arcanist who is "friends" with Kyōfu but who has been threatened with being shaved - completely - if she doesn't stop with telling Kyōfu's bandmates what to say to torque her off, all so she can win the betting pool on how long it'll be before Kyōfu is tossed out of the next band. She's won the last three times. ;) (No proof she said a thing. None at all. ^^) Suzume is a two-tails, and will be adding tails as the adventure commences. Her Trait is Historian of the Rebellion.

We've begun our Campaign some weeks ago, and still running are:

Finnian Naashalen: male N aasimar (plumekith) warpriest of Pharasma 1, rogue (knife master, unchained) 2; He tries to find his place in the rebellion as some kind of double agent - playing a dangerous game with the Silver Ravens and the Chelish Citizens Group. He's a front fighter relying on his two kukris, his warpriest blessings, sneak and a high Dexterity.

Kamog Juliac: male CN human slayer 3; Kamog is a relative to the extinct Juliac family. He "inherited" the Fair Fortune Livery but hasn't access to the corresponing deed because of recent family affairs. He's the kind of filthy meat shield that goes toe to toe with the enemy swaying his greatsword around his head.

Märta Luise Flinkhand: female NG halfling fighter (lore warden) 1, magus (eldritch archer) 1, rogue (chameleon, unchained) 1; The curious and inventive halfling woman is a multitalent, combining the features of three classes into a heck of an archer. Constantly experimenting with alchemy and ways to outdo the enemy, she relies on her fantastic stealth and sniping. She has some ties to a famous adventuring party in Westcrown that made the former capital of Cheliax an independent free city state with access to a reestablished Pathfinder lodge in Delvehaven (see Council of Thieves).

Royan Delstromo: male CG swashbuckler (madcap [Legendary]) 3; He's more the lazy ne'er-do-well, sipping on his ale and getting shoved around. When he acts, he steps in front of the enemy waiving his rapier to the max.

Thiago Ribeiro: male CG aasimar (emberkin) arcanist 3; He's the kind of learned magician who tries not to neglect his oratory skills (as the artist he deems himself). He's a bit taciturn and ever ready to defend his wife and the baby daughter during the tough times in Kintargo.

Valerius Aulamaxa: male CG human bard (dawnflower dervish) 3; He's the opposite of anyone in the group. His heart belongs to the opera. As the artist he seems to be, he's dancing in front of the adversaries and strikes them very effectively with his scimitar in the name of Sarenrae, seeking to find Shensen and to restore the closed opera house. Wiry and with witty repartee, he dances away somber feelings. His aunt Eldonna is so proud of him.

Should be fun!

How's it going, sir. Hope life and gaming has been going well.

My home group is planning to start HR next month.

We have preliminary classes as:
Investigator [mastermind]
Vigilante [avenger]
Psychic
Monk [farshot] going magus [kensai]
Mystic thuerge

And I am thinking Mesmerist.

Any suggestions since (hopefully) your game should be a couple chapters in?

MY GROUP

We started with...

Soren Tascoy: Lawful Good Rakshasa-Spawn Tiefling Bard (Negotiator). A local lawyer who works exclusively pro-bono cases for oppressed Tieflings in the Devil's Nursery.

Niara: Neutral Tiefling Hunter (Packmaster). Born into one of the only well-to-do Tiefling families in Kintargo, her father planned to marry her off to a cleric of the Asmodean church, in order to better secure his own political standing. In open defiance, Niara instead became an... open, and very "active" worshiper of Calistria.

Eclavimar Do'Nocticus: Chaotic Neutral Drow Cleric of Nocticula (Demonic Apostle). One of Nocticula's Chosen among Drow society, Eclavimar began to hold notions some might consider to be heretical... Her god longed for something better, a Demon Lord sought, if not redemption, a different path in life, perhaps even one that would lead her to Divinity. As an experiment, Nocticula took her mightiest Cleric, and stripped her power and knowledge away, commanding her to Kintargo. If her greatest Cleric can find a new path on her own, surely it would be possible for Nocticula herself...

Two sessions later, we got some new players!

Halvar: Chaotic Good Human Barbarian (Urban). The player was somewhat new to RPGs and had a limited backstory, mostly limited to "Halvar Smash." Actually a very intelligent person, Halvar liked to exude an air of savagery, more in line with what people might expect him to be, so he could take them off guard.

Nathaniel Julistarc/Marquis: Lawful Neutral Human Vigilante. (Pretending to be an Aristocrat for the first several sessions.) Once a respected member of the Julistarc family in Westcrown, cousin of Ocatav, though talented in almost anything he put his mind to, it became clear to his father that Nathaniel would rather spend his time flirting around. After a particularly humiliating encounter, Nathaniel was banished from the family with the promise of death did he ever return... He's been in Kintargo for two years now, and recognizes the Thrune takeover for what it is; an unjust, cruel conquest of the city he'd grown attached to.

Unfortunately, there were some real life conflicts in the group, and so, Eclavimar and Halvar had to leave, to be replaced by...

Verulah: Chaotic Good Human Alchemist (Chirurgeon). A kindly old woman who never quiet let that spark of mischief and rebellion leave her heart, when she saw the injustices done to the city she could hold her tongue no longer, and threw her lot in with the Silver Ravens.

So, we are doing our 3rd session today.
We are about 1/2 way to 3rd.

We have:
Samsaran Psychic
Human Investigator (mastermind)
Human Bard/warpriest
Human Vigilante
Human Slums Shaman
1/2 Elf Mystic theurge (eventually)

My Slums Shaman is starting a thieves' guild inside our revolution guild...lol.

We're several weeks into our Hell's Rebels game now (after a RotRL TPK, RIP) and these are our Silver Ravens:

  • Darius Baradin, human investigator. His family had been gathering support for a Milanite resistance movement in Egorian, and he'd been sent to Kintargo to direct recruits on to that effort. With the descent of martial law, sending people on isn't working so well, so he's decided to take the lead on making some trouble in the Silver City. ;)
  • Storm Baradin, human slayer/monk and cousin to Darius. Came to Kintargo to aid in Darius's efforts; he's taken on the role of bodyguard for the revolution's leader (and finally gotten a hang of the funny chain weapon he'd been playing with).
  • Morvious Crispin, aasimar life oracle. Blessed by circumstance with charm, grace, healing ability (and remarkably good looks), he's worked most of his life with the church of Abadar. A run-in with Valeria Baradin (sister to Darius) in Magnimar sent him toward Kintargo to stand against the Thrunes' abuse of power; he's trying to keep things peaceful and diplomatic, but finding it harder than he'd like.
  • Lewinthal McGintis, human evoker wizard. Kintargo native and owner of a local bookshop, he's long worked to preserve what esoteric knowledge he could in a secret back room; with the Thrunes' new, more aggressive stance toward Kintargo, he's decided enough is enough, especially after learning his patrons the Victocoras were lost in the Night of Ashes.
  • Andronicus, tiefling occultist. Born in the Devil's Nursery, he left for a time to escape the Chelish attitude toward his kind. Now a member of the Freedom's Edge faction of the Pathfinder Society, he's returned home and taken the Devil's Nursery under his wing, including rather dramatically breaking up the excruciation of several tieflings who'd been blamed for the disappearance of a dottari patrol.

    Former Ravens:

  • Pavo, alias Silver Raven, human vigilante. Well-bred and well-educated, he was inspired by circulating rumors of a forgotten piece of Kintargo's past to take up the mantle of a revolutionary. After a time, he decided his talents were better suited to working in the background; the arrival of the Freedom's Edge's representative sealed his decision, and now he works to promote the cause through propaganda and information-spreading. (Player elected to switch to Andronicus, above.)
  • Gunk, tiefling brawler. Native of the Devil's Nursery and assistant in Lewinthal's bookshop, he's backed away from the Ravens' missions in order to draw away suspicion and make sure the shop remains going (and its secrets remain hidden). (Player had RL conflicts, and had to step away.)

This week, they go to have another look around Hocum's Fantasmagorium - having blundered in with a lucky Disable Device check and a desire for a new hideout several weeks ago, they found more than they bargained for. Now rumors are starting to grow surrounding the place, and they're deciding it may be time to finish the job with its occupants.

My party is now in menador gap. It os funny how half of the Lawfull party is always trying to look for "legal" ways to resolve their problems . The Bard and Gunslinger are more like , just kill them , they are thrunies xD

i have a question , what are the real reason for a tengu Cleric CE with helping a rebelión ? I hope the player is not tyring to create His own monster

One real-time month into the campaign, getting ready to infiltrate Hocum's:

1. Gojee "Razor Face" Shakes (CN male human swashbuckler/mesmerist), privateer aboard the Scourge of Belial; wields a rapier he's named Pinpoint; multi-classing in mesmerist after discovering the hypnotic skull of Nan Comerivos in the belly of the albino alligator

2. Knoxy (CN female kitsune slayer), barkeep and owner of the Thrashing Badger; ex-Asmodean who turned against the regime after they burned down her lifelihood; master of disguise and poison who carries three daggers in her Calistrian lust for revenge

3. Professor Proteus (CN male elf witch), scholar of biology and transmutation at the Alabaster Academy; a longtime Kintargo resident and long-fascinated with the Temple Hill Slasher; transmuter who uses the Synergist archetype to meld with Brady the owl familiar

4. Quillon the Bardiva (CN male ifrit bard), fiery and flamboyant opera star; former tenant (and acolyte) of the bard Shensen who lost everything in the fire at the Silver Star; wields a whip and the cutting power of his oratory to combat enemies of the opera house

5. Tango (CG male tengu inquisitor of Milani), head gardener of the Victocora Estate; faithful servant to post-Night-of-Ashes Rexus and friend to the Fushi sisters; burgeoning freedom fighter with his natural attacks and blistering invective against corruption

6. Zor (NG male tiefling bloodrager), demon-spawn and also the moral compass of the revolution; friend of Quillon, set-builder and stage-fighting expert for the Kintargo Opera House; charming drinker of ale, master of the longsword and bardiche

The party, upon discovering Nan's cargo of Varisian textiles in the Wasp Nest, rolled opposed Diplomacy checks to determine the name and colors of their new revolution – Gojee Shakes rolled a Natural 20 and, as a worshiper of Besmara, decided the colors would be black and white. Hetamon the Tailor is currently working on some discreet black armbands to mark the Black Ravens.

Just finished the first few sessions, which were my re-written expanded front end to the game. My players have been working as caravan guards for the Victocora who have been gently sounding them out as possible recruits for the Order. Now that Thrune is in charge and the estate has been burned down, the next session is the Aria Park Protest.

I have 5 players :

Camillus : Male Human Divine Agent of Milani, his family fled Kintargo when he was 10 years old due to religious persecution and he grew up in Andoran. Recently returned to Kintargo to fan the flames of internal rebellion in his old home city.
Passionate and forthright, he represents the pure heart of the team.

Severus : Male Human Alchemist, born and bred in Kintargo he is a city boy who graduated from the Alabaster Academy, and recently took out a large loan from the Temple of Abadar to buy his old Master's Alchemy Shop in Redroof (his 85 year old Master having sold up, retired and moved to Vyre to spend his considerable savings and remaining years on drugs and prostitutes).
Has a 'flexible moral approach' to business, Alchemy in general, and human experimentation in particular.

Aldo : A male Half-Elven Magus of House Jhaltero, he grew up both in Kintargo studying advanced Arcane theory at the Academy, and back home in Korvosa, where his Elven mother is an Arch-Druidess of considerable age and power. He has at least 20 brothers and sisters of varying ages, species and power levels (his mother is a real fertility type), including a Half-Orc-Half-Elf Barbarian, and a Half-Elf-Half-Badger Druid.
Intelligent and with a naturalistic understanding of magic theory, he is the most curious of the party members.

Montego : A male Aasimar Paladin of Cayden Caylien (yes, you read that right). This Charismatic but somewhat rogueish character is one of that most rare of breeds in the Inner Sea, a Paladin who follows Cayden. He has travelled with Camillus to Kintargo to help the downtrodden people of the city, and to strike a blow for his god against Asmodeus and the Infernal Church.
A truly good soul who is following prophetic dreams from his god, Montego sees the Paladin's Code as more akin to 'guidelines', but focuses on bringing the light to opressed peoples wherever he can find them.
(My game is fairly extensively houseruled, I allow Paladins more leeway than standard provided they Lawfully follow a code of behaviour that is acceptable to their god).

Alecto : Female Tiefling Ranger. Recently released from Deepmar Prison following a naval disaster, this monstrous and terrifying Tiefling is as Strong as an Ox, as Tough as an Ox, as Smart as an Ox and as Charismatic as a Gelatinous Cube.
Bitter and disillusioned with her treatment at the hands of the racist Chelish Military and her rejection by her Hellknight father, she is down on her luck and scraping a living working claw to mouth as a dockhand whenever the opportunity arises.
Recently reunited with some of her old friends, all she wants right now is coin and a warm bed, but once those are sorted, she may turn to settling a few scores....

My game is a fairly heavily modified 'Flintlock Fantasy' version of Pathfinder. It's set in a slightly more advanced timeline where society has moved towards the end of the Medieval period, so there are elements of gunpowder, industrial scale Alchemy and other similar advances, offset by the manufacture of non-consumable magic items being a dedicated full-time craft that is outside the remit of PCs.
Somewhat similar to Pirates of the Caribbean in terms of overall technology level, basically a re-imagining of early Renaissance society with Magic and Alchemy added to the mix.
My version of the Chelish Empire draws heavily on the worst aspects of the British Empire from the Age of Sail and the colonial period of the United States.

Gonna start this on roll20, our party so far.

Half-Elven Herald Caller of Shelyn.

Custom Race Slayer(Sniper Archtype), born of a human and the spirit of her sword when the latter sacrificed itself to protect her.

Maid Oni Tiefling who acts as the adoptive sister of the Slayer, Barbarian with Berserker archtype.

Human Brawler who fights with whatever he picks up(chairs, bottles, halflings, etc).

And a Human Vigilante who fights with Shredder-inspired claws and calls herself the Nightingale.

We also have an arcane character incoming, but when asked what exactly its based on, the player replied only with the expression 'FIRE AND MORE FIRE!'

The hope of Kintargo ladies and gentlemen.

As our Campaign has advanced a little since my first post, here a little update:

Finnian Naashalen: RETIRED male N aasimar (plumekith) warpriest of Pharasma 2, rogue (knife master, unchained) 5; He retired his activities for the Silver Ravens to become a NPC.

Kamog Juliac: male CN human slayer 8; Kamog seems to have a slight death wish, ever ready to confront the most dangerous foes first. Sometimes he's overcome with exalted creativity, as he dared to take part at the Vyre Banquet costumed as Barzillai Thrune himself - even bringing along a disguised dog that he made "spit fire" using a wand of silent image.

Märta Luise Flinkhand: female NG halfling fighter (lore warden) 1, magus (eldritch archer) 4, rogue (chameleon, unchained) 3; Märta is still eager to counter the lord mayor's decrees with creative measures, but has realized that a civil war in and around Kintargo may rise soon.

Royan Delstromo: male CG swashbuckler (madcap [Legendary]) 8; He's ever more the lazy ne'er-do-well, sipping on his ale and getting shoved around. He seems to get a little frustrated, having to participate at "those ridiculous social events".

Thiago Ribeiro: male CG aasimar (emberkin) arcanist 8; Thiago seems to be more worried to get rid of Blosodriette, which he "aquired" as "bonus familiar" accepting an infernal contract. Now he fears his soul is damned.

Valerius Aulamaxa: male CG human bard (dawnflower dervish) 8; Valerius blossoms like a flower in springtime. The show must go on. The dervish still seeks for his artistic idol Shensen and goes a long way to embarrass every Thrunie - even posing as a streaker in Aria Park to get doghoused victims free. His costumes, tattoos and aliases are legendary by now. He even tried to seduce Sabo "the Spider".

My campaign's party: mild spoilers for early in the campaign...

Aasimar Magical Child: This 15-year-old vigilante is a school girl by day at Lady Docur's School for Girls and the legitimate child of the Baron Canton Jhaltero. Her skunk has been the party's star in several encounters already including detecting Blosodriette. Her CG vigilante identity is now wanted, although the identification mostly focused on her pink hair.

Human Unchained Rogue : Your basic finesse stabber and skill guy, works the sewers creating safe passage and the streets gathering informants. Failed a disguise check, so the dottari are now frustrated trying to find an average-sized human, youngish, male with regular features. Neutral alignment, hates the Sarinis.

Human Unchained Monk This 15-year-old melee fighter just managed to convince his mom to let him move out of the house and not work for the family business. That's the reason the LG party conscience has taken Deceitful as a bonus feat when the Resistance got to 4th rank.

Tiefling Arcanist Enchantment caster and party strategist who already attempted, and failed, to break out of jail. Focused on Devil's Nursery issues.

The Arcanist and the Magical Child are the lynchpin to the core tactic thus far: gather a ton of information about the target, then daze/sleep/color spray/glitterdust it to oblivion for the tag team meleers.

Grand Lodge

My campaign has kicked off with the folowing:
(I've given them gestalt becuase I'm a sucker and want them to have fun)
Annahera Elihem: female CG teifling Slayer 2/Inquisitor of Miliani 2; A reblious child and bastard daughter of the Sarini family she has a rather large chip on her shoulder due to the way she and her peopele are treated by Thrune. Openly flaunts her teiflig nature and take pride in giving the government a bloody nose. Her mother was a teifling who could pass for human but always made sure her daughter was proud of who she was, ensured Annahera grew up to be a confident woman and put her in contcat with the cult of Milani so tha tshe would have a healthy outlet for her anger. Her mother was a prominet figure in the Cloven hoof society and the teifling community for her good works, was killed during the night of ashes. Has daddy issues.

Seraphina Elihem: female LG teifling(Pass for human) Paldin of Iomedae(tourtred crusader)2/Ranger(Divine Tracker)2; Elder sister to Annahera and the first bastard daughter to the Sarini family. Inherited her mother's ability to hide her true nature, was initally accepted by her father but was told stories of the glory and honnor of Iomedae. Rejected by her father when she decided to become a paladin. Traveled to the World Wound two years ago, recently her entire company was slaughtered and she somehow survived. Has sever PTSD and was sent back home to recuperate. With her mother gone now seeks to gaurd her sister from harm.

Bruce: male NG teifling Oracle of the streets2/ Bloodrager (meta magic rager)2; A street urchin as so many other teiflings Bruce has fallen in with underground fighting circuts and unsavoury criminals. Would've turned into another common thug if his latent magic hadn't flared to life during a particualry violent pit fight. Soon after he felt a connection to the cobblestones beneath his feet, feeling the city's pain under the crule rule of Thrune. He now seeks to free his city and share his anger with his opressors.

Sirinius: male NG teifling(Pass for human) Viglianite(Zealot of milani)1 Unchained rouge 1/Kineitisct Void 2; Sirinius was normal mild mannered bureaucrat working for the government, everday dieing a little inside behind has deesk as minnor injustices crossed his desk every day. One day on his way home from another soul crushing day at the office he saw a person being shaken down by a pair of greedy dottari. Something changed inside him as the blatent injustice infront of him killed any naivety he had left. In it's place a terrible emptyness opened in his soul, connecing it to the life draining plane of negative energy. His anger at the corruption in the government channeled that connection that he used to punish the dotatri. His act did not go unnoticed, drawing the attention of the Rose of Kintargo who recurited him for the cult. Now by day he works in the beuractic halls of Kintargo, subtly aiding the cult to the best of his abilities, and by night he is the Black Rose, defender of the people and bringer of justice to the wiked.

After a bit, the Hell's Rebels group finally started up (we took some time to try the PF2 Playtest). The group changed a little from its conception. All are built on 25-point builds and started at 2nd level but with 0 experience points. The Automatic Bonus Progression Rules will be used, along with Staggered Advancement.

Pretty much identical to before, Kyōfu Aulamaxa, a half-orc Skald born of a rather... wild party in which a son of House Aulamaxa dallied with an Orc during quite the wild party and nine months later was presented with a daughter. Her Traits are Talented (Perform (sing)) and Child of Kintargo. She worships Cayden Cailean. Or at least her liver does.

Vogal Shemat, best friend of Kyōfu and born the same time. Seems that drunken party? Kyōfu's dad's best friend was there too and... well, was even drunker than the noble and at the same time his best friend found he'd a half-orc daughter, he was given a daughter with mismatched eyes. Vogal is a changeling, with greenish skin. She's a Magus Eldritch Scion (seeing I decided not to bother with the Vigilante rules and she isn't that keen on learning the rules anyway) with the Celestial bloodline. Her Traits are Rich Parents (the merchant dad) and Urban Sleuth, with a fascination with the Silver Ravens. She likewise worships Cayden Cailean. (Her kidneys definitely do!)

Nox Rosalia, a fetchling of a minor noble house who is a Fetchling Mysterious Avenger Swashbuckler. She has a thing for shadows, attacking from dark corners, and righting wrongs... and I like to think her parents actually know but have decided to let her walk her own path. Besides, Kintargo is a city of free thinkers. ;) Her Traits are Oathbound and Child of Kintargo. She's a secret worshiper of Milani but not a part of any of the cells.

Jimmy changed the most from his original concept. He is now the plaything of the Gods, with Desna and Lamashtu meddling with him and seeing if he will be corrupted by power or saved. He is an Halfling Unchained Rogue/Grey Paladin and quite the nutter (think Emperor Norton of California), calls himself King Under the Mountain, lives in a closed-off part of the Undercity, and has a sock puppet that is Queen Mother and pops out to talk to folk. His Traits are Reactionary and Fed-Up Citizen. (Given he's a Grey Paladin, that means he's going to be going under the alignment radar for quite some time.) He doesn't realize who he worships but once he does he'll likely be having plenty of edibles while coming to terms. ;)

Finally, in the "going to join the group at any moment" category but hopefully this upcoming game?

Ironwood Jack, a half-elven Cleric/Inquisitor of Milani. He's shown up after the Rose of Kintargo cell of Milani went silent with a couple followers having escaped on a ship with a warning about Thrune taking over the city. He's built around an espionage theme, not trusting anyone outside of Laria (he's worked with the Bellflower Network in the past). His Traits are Vagabond Child (Urban, Disabled Device), Fate's Favored, and Natural Born Leader. He also has the Meticulous Drawback.

-----------

The group is currently clearing out the Wasp's Nest and have proven... well, their grasp of tactics isn't the best. Ironically enough, Vogal was the best-suited to fight the lemures in the Livery (seeing she can make her melee attacks good-aligned) yet even though I hinted to her to read up on her character and her abilities, she didn't bother using it until the very end when through perseverance the swashbuckler and grey paladin/rogue managed to take out one of the Lemures.

Jack's player is far more tactically minded so once he roleplays with the others and learns of their abilities, he'll probably start suggesting ways they can be better in a fight. Fingers crossed. ;)

Civilla Alazario: Changeling scholar and Arcanist with occult ties beyond the material world. The family Alazario (motto: Sword Or Pen, We Conquer All) have branches all over the former Chelish empire, and scions of the House include a Pirate Captain of the Shackles. The core branches are loyal to House Thrune, but heavy influence from the Varisian branch in Magnimar causes internal conflict. The Alazarios live their lives by 5 questions and the 4th - Who do you serve and who do you trust? - weighs heavily on Civilla's mind.

Ayva Romanya: Half-Elf Tattooed Sorcerer. Her earliest years are a mystery but at a young age she was taken as a slave by Dwarven followers of Droskar the Dark Smith. She took to the life of toil like a fish to water, honing her craft as she grew.

When her 'Parents' mysteriously went to the Dark Furnace early she set out on her own, keeping her joy of 'frivolous' painting as her comfort. "Adventure and toil awaits!"

Rajira Ononda: A Vishkanya, exotic humanoids with a proficiency for poisons. Since she’s also a Rogue, an opera diva-in-training, and devotee of Calistria the goddess of lust and revenge, woe betide anybody that attracts her ire.

Terzo Porcinus: A dissolute bard, who used to be highly experienced but lost most of those skills because he hasn’t actually worked in years, on top of two decades of wine for breakfast. If the Pickled Ham industry ever needs a mascot, Terzo is their man.

Terzo is a Poet Provocateur, and tutor to Civilla and to a lesser extent Rajira prior to all the current excitement. But with friends like Civilla, Rajira, and Ayva, regaining a long-suppressed optimism that Kintargo will once again be a free city.

(Terzo is also the only Good member of the party, too. Our rebellion has been so secretive that we've been nicknamed the Ghosts of Kintargo, most of the militia are actually our agents, and we've also convinced half the population that Thrune’s bodyguard Nox is one of the good guys now. Although Civilla did just try to assassinate Thrune at the Ruby Masquerade after he unveiled his own fake Nox, so gods knows what's going to happen next)

Here's our merrie little band.

Renzio Jarvis/Chat Noir. "Human" Noble/Tiefling vigilante. Our GM let him take the "pass for human" tiefling trait and say that he transforms into full rakshasa-spawn tiefling when he changes to his vigilante identity.

Vitto Gallus is an aasimar life shaman. He can also pass for human.

Scythe is our tiefling slayer who wields a big sword when she can.

Tencho is a faerie dragon going into sorcerer. Our GM allowed this because the player is blind and can't see the maps. Being a tiny flier helps her deal with this.

Calvie is our genderfluid shapeshifter rogue who was pressed into service as an inquisitor of Calistria. This happened the night before the curfew was enacted where she got caught up in a drunken evening where there were two Cals and a Cail involved. It was a very pleasant night, and then she woke up with powers and a need to wreak holy vengeance on the Thrunes. The party doesn't know it, but she is a kitsune with realistic Likenss and sleeves of many garments.

(spoiler) Vendalfek is an NPC turned PC. He's a faerie dragon and he's joined up to try and impress Tencho. He's working toward arcane trickster.

Prospective group:

"Sully" a lawfull good Asmodean thiefling cleric

"Remy" A CN Witch of time.

"Mrs. Anime weabo protagonist" (working title) a virtous bravo with a Katana

"Mr. Smash" a very stronk monk of the falling hand.

Me, also known as "Mr. Boink", also known as "Sigurdr Snek in the Eye", also known as Siggi, a warpriest of Nocticula Gorrum Clearly! Look, that I am guarded by daggers, not greatswords, when I cast hedging weapons is just a tiny error of perspective, they are totally greatswords! Also, my indepth knowledge of Succubi just comes from seeking to know my enemy! YesYes!

In another life, in another time, he would have been an Asmodean paladin.

Pact servant to regard Asmodeus as lawful neutral, which then allows lawful good. Although he may actually be an Oracle who is getting gigatrolled by soeone with an interesting sense of humor.
