What does a Sha'ir Occultist look like?

Advice

Liberty's Edge

So the sha'ir occultist trades out her typical implements to instead use the power of lesser genie elementals called jin. How does that actually look in practice? Do these jin look like the implement and you wield them the same way? do you command the jin and they cast their implement powers and spells? While the archetype sounds really cool, I don't really know how this works in practice

The jin look like minor elementals according to the book

Jinn are elementals, and elementals can look like various things from bats made of smoke, dogs formed from rock, sharks made of water, humanoids made of swirling air, giant rock people, serpents made from fire, a face made from a wave, etc. etc.

Nope. The jinn just has to be within 30 ft.

You command the jinn, though you're still the one casting the spells and powers.

Play a half orc Sha'ir and have all your Jin look like totems...
