thanks guys!

What do you guys think about the Manyshot wording?

I think in a RAW game manyshot doesn't work with firearms. However, as a home rule converting a double barrel firearm to function similar to manyshot is an interesting idea.

imo, i used to think db guns worked as "one extra shot per full attack" because the wording of the double tap said "once per action" this made it more in line with manyshot and it explained the lack of manyshot for firearms, i was proven wrong when i saw stephens comment that db guns worked with every attack per shot, the same way db musket worked because it had different wording as in "every attack" instead of "action"

Hey all! I heard that Paizos FAQ system is having trouble and that they are having issues viewing the order of the FAQs in queue on the backend. So expect delay and be patient.

Reread the deed it says from BAB which means that haste/rapid shot/manyshot have no effect on it because those are not attacks granted from BAB, they're attacks granted from feats/spells.
EDIT: fixed misspellings and such

The Dead Shot deed states "as many attacks as [you] can", which for every other projectile weapon user includes Rapid Shot, Manyshot and haste.

Haste adds an attack at your highest BAB. Rapid Shot works the exact same way as haste, accounting for the -2 penalty of course.

I don't see why there is a need to let a character with the Clustered Shots feat, which is an equivalent level ability/feat (BAB +6) should be able to fire 2-3 more shots/round than the gunslinger can via Dead Shot.

I can see your confusion, you are not reading the whole thing

[...]but makes as many attack rolls as she can, based on her base attack bonus.

I think we had asumed you had read that

This is what I was talking about. It's all in the deed so there's no need to be confused.

Good news. The FAQ que has been fixed, so now the Paizo staff can see ALL faqs rather than a by person generated list. Apparently a few FAQs slipped through and were not on the working list.

Dead Shot: When it says you make the number of attack rolls based on your base attack bonus, would that also include extra attacks from things like haste or Rapid Shot?

No, dead shot only includes attacks from base attack bonus (so two attack rolls at 7th, three at 11th, four at 16th). Dead shot is meant more of a backup option for particular situations (such as shooting against something with high hardness or avoiding misfires).

Thank you for the FAQ response.
