summons and constructed

alright so summons don't count under familiars or animal companions. at least i don't think.... any ways i was wondering about constructs are they animal companions or magical items that follow their creator. i don't think an iron Golem can be someones companion so the same should apply to the homunculus right?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking.

A construct is an item. You can have as many constructs as you can have any other item. Can you have one sword? Yes. Can you have one construct? Yes. Can you have 4,217 swords? Yes. Can you have 4,217 constructs? Yes.

The ultimate problem is the cash to either purchase or create them. You might be able to have 4,217 constructs, but can you afford them? If you can afford them, go ahead and get them.

can a construct take companion archetype or would it not beable to since it is not a companion animal

Can a wizard take a cleric archetype? Same answer, no.
