The store will not let me place my order

I'm currently trying to place an order to the occult adventures pdf, but every time I press the place order button it just sends me back to payment method. I receive no notice telling me something is not correct and have double check my provided credit card and it was filled out correctly and is not maxed out. The order remains in my cart and there seems to be no sign that I'm being charge for my attempts to buy it.


I am having the exact same issue. I want to buy the product, but the website seems to not want me to.

Edit) Never mind, my expiration date was wrong.

Is your address on file exactly the same as your bank has for you? Even a misplaced comma, period, abbreviation, or typo will cause their system to reject the charge.

Yours looks like it has been having an assortment of issues, the first attempts being problem with the billing address. Then "invalid account number". Then "General decline of the card. No other information provided by the issuing back."

Since things look like they may be a bit of a mess at this point, I would recommend the following:

Delete any payment methods that are currently on your account, and enter a new one. Make sure the account number is entered correctly and that the billing name and address for the card matches exactly what the bank or card company has on file. Depending on your bank, there may be temporary authorizations for the transaction attempts linked to the ones declined because of the billing address problem. These are just temporary authorizations that will expire from your account, as we cannot finalize them. Because so many attempts were made, your bank make have flagged the card for security issues. You may want to double check with them to make sure everything is okay.

If the system is giving you any trouble entering the billing anme and address, please send it to us via email (customer.service@paizo.com) and we can update it and try it from our side of the system.

I cleared my existing payment methods and used a new card, and the order went through! My personal hunch is that the bank flagged the card, and I'll be checking in on that later. I'm just happy to have what I was so proud to purchase.

The same thing is happening to me.
I tried to pay via a debit card, only to discover later, after reading this thread and calling the debit card company, that in Argentina we aren't able to purchase stuff online via debit card.

However I also tried with my credit card, which I have already used for buying stuff via Amazon, and I'm still not able to place the order.

How should I proceed?


Nevermind, got it working... I believe it was an expiration date error and/or an address typo.

It looks like the only message we were getting for you was "General decline of the card. No other information provided by the issuing bank.

This doesn't make sense, as I've used this exact information to make several purchases in the past. Without changing anything, the site suddenly won't process my transaction. The problem MUST be on your end.

EDIT: I just ordered something off of ThinkGeek using the exact same information and the order was placed without a problem. There is simply no way that this is something I did or a problem with my information.
