Without giving any spoilers would a cyber-soldier be a viable choice for this campaign? Are there actually any chances for cybernetic weapon implants. Could an iron priest perform the implants if the items were found?

Without spoilers - it would be a long-term investment. Personally, I wouldn't recommend the archetype to PCs.

The Exchange

I have to agree with Misroi, those archetypes are far better for PCS coming in later in the story and work much better as NPCs because as a GM I can build them and give them what they need to work and impress the players with a cool unique archetype all at the same time.

I kind of had that feeling about the cyber-soldier. That is a lot of gold just to make a class ability work. Thanks.

Unless the DM gives access to a cybernetics lab sooner (iirc the PCs get access at the 6th book) then i wouldn't recommend that archetype.

Iron priest cleric at and cyber soldier fighter at ate difficult from a story and mechanical view in this AP. Would not recommend it.

Talk to your GM if you want to play a Cyber Soldier, I don't see why you can't work something out, I myself am introducing a friendly Cyber Doctor earlier than what's written :-)

The Exchange

I also included a cybernetics lab instead of a military lab, however I did this before consulting my players Con and Int and it turns out not a single one of them can use cyber netics right now. That Con and Int modifier can definitely make cybernetics a bit hard.
