Touch attack spells and touch attacks

Rules Questions

I'm not quiet sure how the following actions work together:

I've got a ghost of a monk/sorcerer with the abilities to cast spells and to deliver touch attacks as melee attacks. The normal melee attack stats "touch attack +8 - 13d6".
In addition to that the ghost may cast vampiric touch, which would grant him a touch attack with the normal vampiric touch effect (in this case some what of 4d6, or something like that)

My question is, how those effects combine, if the ghost would cast vampiric touch and then meele-attack normaly. Rules say, that touch attacks, that aren't deliverd on the spot, will stay active, as long as no other spell is cast. so would the normal melee attack deliver 13d6 + 4d6 ?

Here are some possible combinations:

1: Cast "Vampiric touch" as a standard action, recieve a touch attack as a free action and deliver 13d6 normal dmg + 4d6 spell dmg

2: Cast "Vampiric touch" as a standard action, recieve a touch attack as a free action and deliver only 4d6 spell dmg

3: Have a active vampiric touch cast, attack in melee as a standard action and deliver 13d6 normal dmg + 4d6 spell dmg

4: Have a active vampiric touch cast, attack in melee as a standard action and deliver only 13d6 normal dmg

I'd appreciate your help!

My understanding of the rules is ...

You can cast Vamp Touch and use the free touch from that spell as a standard action. You do *not* get your unarmed damage, just the 4d6.

OR

You can cast Vamp Touch as a standard and 'hold the charge', then next round use it as a carrier on your punch. This would deal the unarmed damage plus the Vamp Touch damage.

Unarmed strikes can deliver any held touch spells, but the free touch attack granted by a touch spell is not an unarmed strike. Even if an unarmed strike is otherwise against touch AC.

So as Zhayne said, basically. From the combinations you gave, 2 and 3 are the correct ones.

Now, if you happened to have 2 levels of magus in the mix, you could deliver a melee basic attack in place of the free touch attack, and thus combine them in the same turn as the casting, but that's neither here nor there.
