Steel Hound Archetype

Rules Questions

So how does the Steel Hound Investigator work with Studied Combat and making studied strikes?

The ruling states " upon successfully hitting his studied target with a MELEE attack, to deal additional damage."

And there isn't any mention of it that I can see under the archetype write up.

It doesn't work very well currently, requiring a feat tax of ranged study. There is supposed to be a big errata for the whole book it is from though so hopefully it will stop sucking. I'm personally hoping that the sleuth archetype adds more and better deeds, stacks with the steel hound archetype(it is already replacing a really good ability, it shouldn't replace anything else), and that the steel hound archetype gives you ranged study for free with the gun you chose, along with giving you rapid reload at 2nd because that is when you need it.

Thank you much. Yeah, I guess we'll see if they address that at some point or not...
