what penalty do you use? -2 or -4? i mean my player is throwing darts, I don't feel like this should be -4...

It's not covered within the rules. Make a ruling and be consistent. I see no problem with ruling that darts (shuriken, rope dart, maybe bolas) count as light weapons and javelins (and pretty much every other non-melee thrown weapon) count as one-handed based on the damage they do. Nets I'd throw into the one-handed category. Most weapons seem fairly clear cut as to where they should fall.

Thrown Weapons: The same rules apply when you throw a weapon from each hand. Treat a dart or shuriken as a light weapon when used in this manner, and treat a bolas, javelin, net, or sling as a one-handed weapon.

This is the link to CountofUndolpho's quote. It is in the Two-Weapon Fighting portion of the Combat section, not the feats section.

Oops! Thanks for making my answer a complete one, meant to add the link...Forgot :(

Apparently it is covered in the rules <sheepish>. Good find Count.

I wasn't too far off though...
