So, I've gotten my first ever PFS race boon and it's for an undine.* I'm thinking of making a Watersinger Bard out of her, and I was wondering if people had recommendations for wet adventures. No other spoilers please -- I just want there to be a lot of water around. This can be adventures in flooded dungeons, on top a raft on the river, near a ship... Extra points if it's one where I can actually get submerged and show off my swim speed!

While she'll have enough general bardic abilities to be useful to any gaming party (even in the desert) I'd love to reserve for her a few adventures where she can get really wet and wild.

Wet Adventures I've played with other characters:

Confirmation (yes, I know this one can be replayed)
Overflow Archives
Delirium's Tangle
Slave Pits of Absalom

Lantern Lodge 5/5 * RPG Superstar 2015 Top 16

Watery Adventures off the top of my head:

Below the Silver Tarn (7-11)
From Shore to Sea (Level 4-6 module)
No Plunder No Pay (7-11)
First Steps pt1 (level 1 evergreen, only a single portion, but your abilities would come in handy for that part)
Quest for Perfection pt2 (1-5, lots of naval stuff)
You Have What You Hold (3-7 on a raft for a portion)

I'll post any others if I can think of them.

Some others to check out, outside of what you've mentioned. While it's not a full list, as I've yet to run everything out there, there's a lot to choose from.

0-02 The Hydra's Fang Incident [1-5] (bonus points!)
0-06 Black Waters [1-5]

3-11 Quest for Perfection, pt 2: On Hostile Waters [1-5]
4-15 The Cyphermage Dillemma [1-5]
4-18 The Veteran's Vault [1-5] (I don't think you'll want these bonus points...)

One that is definitely missing that would be very interesting for an Undine:

Spoiler:
Emerald Spire Level 5: The Drowned Level

The Concordance 5/5 5/55/5 ***

Having played an aquatic-focused Undine through many of those scenarios I can confirm that it's incredibly entertaining and useful (and I *really* wish I'd played through DrParty06's spoilered scenario!).

Thematically that type of character has RP opportunities that you rarely ever encounter. Mechanically, gaining +8 to AC and Improved Evasion against opponents on land is a lifesaver. I've only ever encountered one dispute within the rules, so just be aware it exists.

You have a good opportunity to pick up an Underwater Crossbow (Light or Heavy).

Watersinger Bard is fun. If you're looking for other suggestions on classes, there's the Aquatic Druid, and I've thoroughly enjoyed the Bolt Ace (specializing in the aforementioned Underwater Crossbow).

David, David and Dr. Party --

These are some great suggestions, and many of them I have not played yet!

Waves at Blub, Blub

EDITED to ADD:

Oh, hello there!

I love your character's name. I'm thinking of going with Nixie for mine.

I love your character's name.

It was a translation error by an intern when I joined the Pathfinder Society.

On your first day, when you give them your name, be sure to speak in Common, and not Aquan =\

What is even funnier is that I had posted my *glub, glub* for aquan before seeing your post. My accent must be slightly different than yours!

Spoilers! (It isn't much of a spoiler, though, given the name.)

Also, David Montgomery did mention [REDACTED], in the third post.

Not sure about this one

#2-17 Shades of Ice II: Exiles of Winter

There is definitely a water area but it is just about the worst choice

An excellent adventure for an Undine is

amazing adventure:
The Forbidden Kingdom of Forgotten Koor
But it oddly enough lacks in water but would still be FANTASTIC

How about the Skull and Shackles AP. That sounds like a decent choice.

I recently got my undine boon which I used to create a swashbuckler/ranger that I would similarly like to play in more water oriented adventures.

Hehe. I did that one. It was great fun! Perfect for a worshiper of Feronia like myself!

Codanous... I didn't find one with that exact title.

Is this what you meant?:

Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-18: The Forbidden Furnace of Forgotten Koor

Huh. A desert scenario. Okay, I'll take your word for it that it will be great! Maybe by the time that Nixie plays it, she'll be able to afford that decanter of endless water that she's been telling me is her ultimate desire.

4/5

Did anyone bring up Overflow Archives yet?

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/55/55/55/5 **** Venture-Captain, Minnesota

I've already played that on another character, pre-boon. I agree it would be perfect for my little undine. Maybe I can replay it when I get my first GM star.

Sometimes you find what you least expect in the desert =)

Given that undines have been a legal race for a Season and a half, and that we have several aquatic boon races made available this year (GenCon’s Naiad boon, as well as Aquatic Elf and the compound boons of Gillman and Merfolk) I decided that it was high time to let the flood gates forth and revisit this thread!

What are your continuing recommendations for adventures where you can make a splash?

A Few Evergreens with Some Splash Potential:

Consortium Compact
Gallows of Madness, parts II and III
Beyond the Halflight Path (some story arcs / monster choices)

Let’s keep the list going, and help players consolidate their travel plans!

Water adventures for everyone — yay!

4/5 5/55/55/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Minnesota—Minneapolis

Season 8 had several, many of which you could tell just from the title.

Spoiler:
Ungrounded by Unbroken (only one small section)
Treacherous Waves
Torrent's Last Will

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/55/55/55/5 **** Venture-Captain, Minnesota

Specials!

Specials:

Assault on Absalom is VERY wet
Sky Key Solution has some mild wet areas...
Solstice Scar A — Dry
Cosmic Captive, despite having a water path, was mostly frozen water
Blood Under Absalom — a tiny bit of dampness, and it’s icky
Race for the Runecarved Key — Dry

These adventures were great for my undine:
Treacherous Waves
Torrent's Last Will

I even have yet to run them myself!

Grand Lodge 3/5

Below the Silver Tarn. go swimming in a demon lake... ;)

Silver Crusade 4/5

And yet nobody in this thread mentioned the very first PFS adventure: 0-1: Silent Tide.

Grand Lodge 4/5

I'd guess Hydra's Fang Incident to be better suited to an undine than Silent Tide.

Silver Crusade 4/5

I never said it was the wettest scenario ever, but Silent Tide definitely has some swimming involved, which makes it wetter than some of the others mentioned in this thread. In fact, the special, Assault on Absalom, was mentioned, and it's a direct sequel to Silent Tide, with the wet scene in that one being a callback to the similar moment in Silent Tide.

It's ironic that the "tide" in the adventure title isn't a reference to water, yet there's definitely water in the adventure.

Hmmm.

Modules:
Crypt of the Everflame(one small part, but fun)
Masks of the Living God

Other Possible Scenarios:

#13 Prince of Augustana Ewwwwwwwwww! No. Just NO.
#6-06 Hall of the Flesh Eaters(At the beginning and up to about halfway through at points)
#6-18 From Under Ice (More towards the beginning)
#7-19 Labyrinth of Hungry Ghosts (at the beginning)
#8-15 Hrethnar's Throne (At the beginning and the end-ish)

4/5

Test of Tar Kuata has a good part for an undine.

Scarab Sages 1/5 5/5

"...an' then, 'f c'rs', th'r's 'quarius. Tha' fella c'n make anythin' an' aquati' mission-thingie!"

There's an Undine character that bought the Vanities to be able to go through missions in a large cauldron of water being referenced there.

I just wanted to point out this old post, and to tell you all that the replay of Overflow Archives finally happened for Nixie. It was a complete and utter delight, run by VC Lawrence Smith in Play-by-Post!

It is funny looking back to something written before I got my first GM star, but all the enthusiasm that I had then I still have now.
