Liberty's Edge 1/5

Im creating a character who an excellent archer but also a pyro... I was wondering in society play is it possible to make a non magical arrow? And if so what would be the damage and range be of it?

I would look into the Alchemy Manual. It has a buch of special arrows that are PFS legal.

Liberty's Edge 1/5

I was willing of just improvising and having arrows with oil soak rags on them but I'll look into that

The alchemy manual has the slow burn arrow. Targets hit take 1d6 fire damage the run after being hit.

Liberty's Edge 1/5

But they are expensive 0.0 100 gp per arrow

I didn't notice. Cheaper to get a flaming bow in the long run.

Scarab Sages 5/5

Alchemist would be able to make them at 1/3 cost....

Also, you could take an archetype that gets to add her bombs to missile weapons... Grenadier I think?

Sovereign Court 1/5

Grenadier Alchemist adds alchemical items to arrows so making those there is a big cost savings over the slow burn arrows. Any alchemist can take the explosive missle discovery which lets you add bombs. You may be able to stack both on a slow burn arrow depending on wording.

You can. The Grenadier ability takes a move action to infuse a piece of ammunition with an alchemical item, while Explosive Missile uses a standard to infuse and shoot. For extra fun, combine alchemist's fire with Ghast Retch in a hybridization funnel, infuse that into a slow burn arrow, then use Explosive Missile. While under the effects of Targeted Bomb Admixture.

Slow Burn arrows are a DC25 to make, so you might not be making them until 2nd or 3rd level...
INT +5, class skill +3, making stuff +1, ranks +1, crafters fortune +5 ... Take 10 for a 25 and that Would pull it off at 1st level, ...

But that is a 20 INT alchemist.

So it looks loke you could do this .

I'd recogmend doing her as an Elf, to get The use of bows at the start...

Heck this looks good enough I may need to start me another alchemist!

Liberty's Edge 1/5

Well the idea was for my vigilante I was trying to make the pathfinder version of hawkeye

Liberty's Edge 1/5

Or the green arrow

Scarab Sages 5/5

Well... One level of alchemist? To get the crafting...

Does investigator also get alchemy crafting? that might synergize better with vigilante

Alternately warlock vigilante and spend some spell slots on abundant ammunition.

Liberty's Edge 1/5

Neither character is magical that's why I'm looking for non magical ways of doing it

You have to take a level in something with alchemical abilities to get alchemical crafting.

Liberty's Edge 1/5

Even if it improved and on the fly

Silver Crusade 5/5 5/55/5 **** Venture-Captain, Germany—Bavaria

Both characters are pretty rich, so just buy +1 flaming arrows, yes it is magical, but in PFS you are unlikely to be able to avoid magic items in the long run anyway.

EDIT: Not a PFS specific question, flagged to the post to be moved.
