The Twin Soul Kensai (Samurai Archetype)

Homebrew and House Rules

So, to make a long story short, one of my players wanted to play, well, a samurai anime hero but of course that's not the samurai. Then he looked at monk (Both regular and unchained) and he said he really liked most of what the samurai did just wanted it to be more monk-ish. And I said "k" so I came up with this. He made an off-had comment about wanting to duel wield so I incorporated that as well. Take a look, I don't care a whole lot about balance seeing how Clerics, Druids and Wizards still, y'know, exist.
Lemma know what you think I guess. Twin Soul Kensai

I would suggest not reinventing the wheel - The Daring Champion already does most of what you want, so I would just apply it to the Samurai, perhaps with modification to give him the Slashing Grace feat at level one. Yes, Panache is not ki but it's honestly better in most cases.

The Kata Master Monk seems to be what you're trying to do.

Giving the Samurai Combat Style Feats seems a little silly, as Order is one of the most defining parts of the Samurai Class, if you're removing that there isn't really a point.

A Monks Flurry of Blows will also be stronger than Two-Weapon Fighting, and is a much lower feat investment, and hits at full BAB.

if you wan't to Flurry with a Katana you can go about it three ways; Dip a level of Crusader Cleric and take the Crusader's Flurry Feat, A Blade of the Sword Saint, or Variant Multiclassing into Cleric and grabbing Crusaders Flurry.

Using any of the Crusaders Flurry combinations make the Katana count as a Monk Weapon, which works with the Panache Class Abilities
