If my character is a spy for the Bellflower Network, what would his day job be?

Pathfinder Society

My character in PFS is a halfling rogue who, when not pathfindering, is a very active member in the Bellflower Network(halfling-founded anti-chelaxian slave liberator underground railroad type deal).

What day job would he take to reflect this? Profession(spy)? His wisdom is terrible, so I would much prefer to have it reflected by a charisma skill if possible. The job is more about interacting with people than things anyway.

Bluff or Disguise would honestly reflect the required skills much better, but I can't use those for a day job check to my knowledge.

Farmer, obviously.

Perform: Acting would do it.

The caravan vanity can be used to let you use bluff to make a dayjob check.

"Escaped slaves! well officer, I hope you catch them. Gotta get these turnips to market asap, you know how they start to want to breat.. erm. Go rotten. "

Perfect! Now I don't need to spend feats, skills, traits OR gold! Awesome! Thanks!

I have heard rumors of a halfling-run family circus and traveling Pathfinder lodge that doubles as a contact point for the Bellflower league.

But I'm sure those are just rumors.

Craft : locksmith? "Of course those manacles will hold; I made them myself. Yours for the bargain price of 15 gold!"

Yep. Nothing but rumors. Nothing to see here.

One of my halflings has a Caravan vanity. Another has Profession (sailor) for getting folks downriver during an escape. Another has Profession (driver) to operate a large animal-drawn cart. Yet another has Profession (scribe) and occasionally writes seditious screeds or letters with veiled messages. One more has Perform (circus acrobat). He just performs, giving the circus its legitimacy. ;-)

The limit is really your own creativity.

(And if it appears I have a lot of halfling characters ... well, yes, I do. ;-) )

Remember, folks, the Circus D'Alembert is just a circus, with a family of performers! No spies, no secret agents, nothing at all to do with sedition or supporting the royal family....

Family D'Alembert:
Doc Smith and a posthumous ghost writer, 10 books, heavy gravity family circus of secret agents, using their circus skills to foil the bad guys...

Farmer works good..

With a sideline in 'Profession: Gutting Slaveowners in the night'.

But then.. I'm JUST a farmer from Bellis sir.., with a small stand of trees that needs trimming with this here axe.....

Undertaker, you can hide all sorts of things inside. Noone asks questions...and if things crawl out of the coffins at night noone really wants to find out why.
