Best way to maximize Burning Hands

Advice

So I really like the flavor of the burning hands spell, what is the best way to make it useful for as many levels as possible. Obviously Maximize and empower and enlarge spell.

What else?

The best way is to grab a theologian cleric based on fire domain. At level 5 you get a free intensify spell that doesn't count against your spell slot. Then grab magical lineage and wayang traits to reduce all metamagic used by 2 slots. Grab empower metamgic, spell focus (evocation) and spell spec (burning hands). If you want to add more than that your goin to fall into a problem that your efforts are better spent on fireball.

Gnome with the Pyromaniac alternate racial trait can cast burning hands (and any other spell with the fire descriptor) as if 1 level higher.

You can take 1 level in oracle (Flame mystery) to pick up the Burning Magic revelation (best for an ifrit with the Fire-Starter alternate racial trait). Extra Revelation can also be used for Cinder Dance.

Eldritch Font Arcanist with a single level of crossblooded orc/dragon is probably your best bet to focus on a single spell. You can max out your 10d4 by about 5th or 6th level with the right feats and Eldritch Surge. Once you add in other metamagic as well you can get 10d4+12 maximized to 52 empowered to 78 and your DC will be sky high. Bonus points for picking up elemental spell, though you'll lose some damage if you don't use your draconic bloodline type. Fruian's listed out a lot of great feats you should take a look at.

"Spell book? Well I've only got the one spell... More of a spell pamphlet, really."

EDIT: If you want, take Gold/Red dragon bloodline (that way your hands are still burning and not corrosive or shocking) and when you're high enough level switch to cone of cold. The draconic bloodline lets you change it to fire for free and all of the specific spell bonuses on burning hands can transfer over pretty painlessly. When you switch it to fire it really is just a bigger and badder burning hands.
