Awakened Spirit Animal bonus duration

Greetings,

I'm currently running the 2nd adventure in Serpent's Skull (Racing to Ruin), and my players received the ritual performed by the three Zenj Spirit Dancers. The issue is that it isn't listed for how much time they get to enjoy the bonus once they activate it.

The text reads as:
"Once per adventure for the duration of the Serpent’s Skull Adventure Path, the PC can channel the power of her totem spirit as a move action and gain a +5 sacred bonus on any associated skill check, or use wild empathy to communicate with creatures of the animal species related to her totem spirit."

I've been searching through the forums and I haven't seen anyone mention duration. Am I missing something out or what?

I read it as once per book they can activate the bonus.

The channeled power of a totem spirit should only last for as long as necessary to complete the associated task. It's meant to be used immediately before either making a skill check or wild empathy check, and ends as soon as that's done (i.e., the dice for the check are rolled).

If that's too loose, give it a duration of 1 minute, which should be enough to attempt a single skill check or wild empathy attempt.
