Searching for resources to aid them in the Ruby Phoenix Tournament, the Pathfinder Society is sending a crack team of agents to Taldor to retrieve the Atavistic Splinter, an artifact reputed to have been touched by the hand of Gozreh, which has the power to transform Humanoids into bestial creatures with preternatural strength.

Once he was done, he looked at their surroundings, seeming lost "Well, where to next?"

I'd certainly allow a circumstance bonus on something like that, Jorag. Neither of these are, but the roll on the wand is sufficient.

The wand is a Wand of Eagle Eye with 12 charges remaining.

Uriel creeps up the center passage and peeks into an open space.

Uriel:
This open space is roughly oblong, with three gaps in the thorny walls to the south, west, and north. To the east is a rough wooden table with a leather satchel lying atop it. The table is surrounded by six cut logs planed flat and turned endwise to serve as stools. Two stiff linen banners hang on stands placed along northwest and southwest walls, carefully placed a few inches away from the thorns to prevent tearing.

Silver Crusade

With the wand's magic, Mikhaere gets a faraway look in his eyes.

Mikhaere:
The middle path that Uriel was investigating leads to an open space in the center of the henge that is roughly oblong, with three gaps in the thorny walls to the south, west, and north.

To the North path, it winds back to the entrance and circles around to join up with the space in the center. This path continues to the East where it enters another long, wide area that is partially roofed by a sheet of woven bark. There is a path joining the center area from here as well.

A path from this area and one from the place you are in now leads to the South into a wide area on the South side of Briar Henge that has a roughly circular shape. Four tall, thin spires of ancient stone thrust up from the ground at irregular intervals like malformed teeth. To the west, two thicker stones are capped with a third horizontal stone, forming a crude gateway. A thick piece of charred bark is suspended in this gateway by a web of crackling energy. The crackling energy pulses outward from the bark into the dolmen stones, and from there into the ground. Four humanoid figures in hide armor, grasping staves, stand before the gateway and seem to be chanting something.

Mikhaere caws in amusement; many of the human (or human-ish, although he suspected Daeris might find that insulting) adventures he'd been assigned to missions with held similar sentiments. "Say what you like about me, just so long as you preface it with 'He did such a good job and should be paid extra'."

"But hey, you lot were pretty competent. Or maybe I'm just happy to not somehow run into Grandmaster Torch this time." The tengu rolls his eyes. "So it was good.."

A job well done, Jorag felt confident joining the Pathfinders had been the right thing to do. It might not be safe, but he had lived many years already, and the challenges they had passed had given him more satisfaction than the sporting event of the past few years. "Nothing wrong with coaching wrestlers of course, but this is just something different entirely."

"I share your sentiment Daeris." he looked around at everyone "With all of you. Dangerous at it was it seems to be over all too soon. I should have liked more time to get to know you all, but who is to say we wont have the chance yet?" He gave a big smile. "At any rate we will sure run into each other from time to time, and I look forward to it."

Not wanting to drag on the inevitable, he headed for the door, turning briefly towards everyone before leaving. "Kurgess guide your path and see you safe. Until next we meet, fare thee well."

You can also right click the charater pictures on this page, then select 'Save Picture As...' and name it what you want (like Daeris, Uriel, etc.) That saves a .jpeg picture on your hard-drive, which you can then insert into the Google Drawing as separate tokens.

Silver Crusade

That I did not know... and that would make things much easier... *facepalm*

Silver Crusade

Day jobs if you have them. Please PM me your PFS # and e-mail addresses and I'll send your Chronicle sheet when I get them, sometime in the next couple days.

Silver Crusade

Still need PFS #s and e-mail addresses from Daeris and Jorag.

Sorry for sounding ignorant, but seems I missed the part about "Day jobs" when I read the PFS rules. Anyone care to explain or give a page reference?

The short version: You can roll a Craft, Profession, or Perform check at the end of a scenario and get bonus gold from it. (There are ways to unlock other skills such as Heal or Survival too.)

Yep, the day job roll is made between scenarios, as if it's what you do to support yourself during Pathfinder downtime and it earns you some extra gold that the GM puts on your Chronicle sheet. I have yet to draw up a character that can use it, but I've seen Bards do it. Later on, you can spend Prestige Points to use a different skill for the Day Job roll, as Mik saya. I've listed one below that Jorag might be interested in later on if you keep him as is.

Snipped from the Field Guide:

Temple (4 PP): Regardless of your class, you are an
active member of your local temple or place of worship.
Your commitment to seeing your faith prosper and grow
has ingratiated you with the local clergy, and you may
even hold a spot among them when not out adventuring.
You can use Heal to make Day Job rolls. Once per game
session, if you have access to an operating temple of
your faith, you can have a cleric cast either cure moderate
wounds or lesser restoration on yourself or one of your
allies, free of charge. You must visit the temple to receive
this attention.

If you haven't downloaded the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play, you'll want to do that. It's free and part of the core assumption and has some basic info the factions and day job rolls etc.

I'm gong to be starting up a new low-level game this weekend if anyone wants in. ^_^

Oh yes please fair elven maiden, Jorag has gained quite the appetite for this new exciting "sport". Also, ill definitely pick up that temple prestige, good stuff!

Silver Crusade

I may be interested in a low level game myself. :)

Chronicle sheets coming out shortly. I've been busy at a Con running PFS games this weekend.

I'd be interested, too!

As soon as I finish with my Gameday games, I'll be starting some new PFS games as well.

Well, yay! I have just opened up the recruitment.
Go check it out! ^_^
Jorag has one of the reserved spots I mentioned, Shifty has the other.

Hey GM, since we're more or less wrapped up with the Chronicles having gone out, mind making this campaign inactive?

*gets OCD about campaigns on her campaign page...*

Silver Crusade

Sure thing.
