Due to a mistake on my end thinking I can use my Hotel points once I got a reservation number from Hilton (I can't, or I can they are not sure) I have a room available to transfer to someone else.
I am re-booked a further away hotel for myself using points and I need to transfer my Hilton reservation made through Gen Con to someone else to avoid a fine. Transferring hotel reservation does not come with a fine so if you are looking for a closer hotel this works.
The hotel is Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Downtown which is 5 blocks away from Gen Con. it is from July 29 - August 3 with a final price of $1,146.60. It has 2 Queen beds.
