Yeah, I made one little change to the big secret the PCs learn at the end of book 5...
That, in fact, it was THE ELVES using aboleth magic that caused the first earthfall all those years ago, trying to bring an end to the humans who were becomming way too powerful back then (Thassilon and their Runelords in particular).
THIS is the secret that the winter coucil wants to protect at all cost (along with the other reveal about the DROW origins, of course).
Now one of them has found the old recepee for disaster, and it's all going to happen again. And the elves are just planning to leave again and return in a few hundred years. No big deal.

They're still a "good" race. It just gives a reason why folks shun them.

As a fan of Dwarves I can say with 100% certainty, you don't need a reason to shun Elves, just shun them for the sheer joy it brings, and I'd say engaging in mass extinction level shenanigans is something the "goodly" races wouldn't engage in..... never mind :-)
From what I've heard, most groups want to kill all the elves in the unedited AP anyway. Kudos on making it easier.
We only got somewhere into the drow city, but my half-orc oracle girl was definitely going to make sure that the asteroid drop happened... on the right place.
