I agree, a pouncer would be fun, although I think an unchained rogue with the dagger master and scout archetypes would more suit the goblin's strengths, especially with that nice +4 dex just waiting to be applied to damage. That racial +4 and size +4 to stealth are just fun at low levels.

Every single round:
Player "I charge. Sneak attack for umpteen damage!"
GM "He full-attacks...first hit for...."
Player "I go flying back out of range of the rest of the hits. My turn again? Oh, I charge. Sneak attack..."

EDIT - Well, that is if you can find a way to get up from prone as a free action, being, you know, staggered and all...

Unchained Rogue, get the normally worthless talent to fast stand and once you get advanced talents get the one that lets you always take 10 and pick acrobatics as one of your choices. Max acrobatics ranks. Get a Ring of Ferocious Action. You are set.

I'm playing a build like that now. It is a shame I never get to use it though because of Hellcat Stealth making me too hard to hit.

Dangit man, now I really want to be a player again!

I can't even GMPC this, we've got a frickin' unchained rogue in the party already!

DANGIT MAN!

The feat only work for melee weapon attacks. My goblin learned the hard way that ranged attacks still hurt a lot. This is why he learned to Deflect Arrows.

I imagine a goblin monk with pummeling style and a means of acquiring dex to damage would be an absolute beast with roll with it. You have deflect arrows, an insane movement speed, the ability to add ki to acrobatics, evasion, all good saves, immunity to poisons and diseases, and a full attack charge with pummeling style (which technically you can do while staggered because pummeling charge only says you have to be charging, it doesn't say it has to be a full round charge as opposed to the staggered standard action charge). Use chaoseffect's tricks to get a free action stand from prone...

All you have to do is, you know, be a lawful goblin, which no GM worth their salt would allow.

Just wait till he gets Freedom of Movement :3

I remember reading something like this earlier...

"When the BBEG sees you fly away unable to pursue he uses his move action to pick up a rock."

Next Round "BBEG throws a rock as an improvised throwing weapon."

As others have mentioned, you can only fly back once a round. Get tapped too lightly, and you're open to everything else for the rest of the turn. Or soak the damage from the light hit and keep it ready, hoping there's a bigger hit you'll get to negate.

I have got to add this to some of my goblin NPCs against the players, thanks!

Even for an npc there are so many counters to this feat.

Full melee attack with a bab+6 npc:
Attack 1: Hit goblin, goblin bounces away, cackles tauntingly.
Attack 2: Thrown dagger, 4hp goblin is now unconscious.

Its both thematic and wise to give npc's secondary weapons, Orgers with javelins, trolls with Javelins, everything with javelins!

That is assuming Quick Draw though unless they are duel wielding or they throw their primary weapon. Move action draw and you already standard action attack to trigger Roll With It or are in the middle of a full attack routine.

This triggers on a weapon, so don't hit with a weapon. Unarmed attack and natural weapons all work fine.

Unarmed strike and natural attacks are considered light weapons.

Note that this is also putting a level 1 Goblin (only 4 hp, after all) up against an at least 6th level Fighter/Ranger/Paladin, in order to get more than one attack from iteratives.

Once the goblin is higher level, that thrown dagger, even if the guy is a dagger monster, probably won't take him out if he is not involved in an Epic Challenge.

OK, the SRD lists Unarmed strike as a Simple Weapon

Where does it say the same for natural attacks?

Roll With-It does say "struck by a melee weapon" not "struck by a melee attack", so I think the unarmed strike should not apply.

EDIT: Added last paragraph

Question—would you deny natural attacks the damage bonus from Inspire Courage?

and no strength to hit?

when is it op as at relatively low levels every slap deals something like 40 dmg and it only becomes worse?

you need SERIOUS acrobatics in order to roll everything.

So, what should I do here?

Don't worry about it. Smart players will realize that all they have to do is pull out daggers and not power attack. The goblin gets to avoid the less than 10 damage with an easy Acrobatics check and still be in full-attack range, or eat the damage and be whittled away.
