I'm a fan of this Ninja Trick:
Wall Climber (Su): A ninja with this ability gains a climb speed of 20 feet, but only on vertical surfaces. This ability cannot be used to scale perfectly smooth surfaces or to climb on the underside of horizontal surfaces.
It gives you a Climb Speed, which is a big pile of bonuses.
- You get a +8 racial bonus on climb checks.
- You can always "Take 10" on a climb check.
- You can Accelerated Climb at pretty much double normal speed.
- You get to keep your Dex bonus to AC while climbing.
That last one's a big winner if you ever get peppered with Sneak Attack capable arrows during a long climb.

Yeah, unfortunately most of the good ninja tricks require a ki pool to perform, with Wall Climber probably being the best non ki ability. Pressure Points is kind of useful, doing 1 Str or Dex damage on a sneak attack, though less so than the Debilitating Injury of the Unchained Rogue. They both work together though if you're looking to be a de-buffer rogue. After that it's mostly specific bonus feats.
After that you probably want to look at the Unchained rogue talents. I like the Minor/Major magic for unlimited casting of light or detect magic, and vanish once per day for every two rogue levels. It's not quite as good as the ninja vanish trick, but still a really good ability, especially at low level. There's also an ability to change your spell cast, I just can't seem to remember it at the moment. I'll try and figure it out, though I'm sure someone on the boards know it off hand.
