My suggestion, due to your archetype, would be to get Shield Slam, use a spiked heavy Shield as your primary weapon (you can use it two-handed for Power Attack). This keeps a hand free for lay on hands. You can get bashing on your Shield, or enchant the spikes. Also, consider the Missile Shield feat and get the arrow catching enhancement on your Shield. I think that would go with your theme of being a masochistic tank.
