Pathfinder Tokusentai

Advice

Challenge: Build a Tokusentai (Special Battle Squad) consisting of nothing but Rangers which would be sent out on the most difficult missions for the state.

Criteria: Team must consist of 5 PCs and 1 GMPC. All characters must be single-class Rangers. If desired, the GMPC may be a Slayer. Each character must have a unique point compared to the others. They must also work well as a balanced team (teamwork feats are highly recommended). One of these PCs must be "Red", the leader of the squad. The GMPC is "black", s(he) is more of a lone wolf type who only links up with the group when teamwork is beyond absolutely necessary or as the plot demands. Others should have some kind of a "color" theme appropriate to their skills and personality. They should emphasize the positive aspects of their color more than any negative aspects. For instance, "Yellow" may be a little bit of a coward, but don't focus on that, instead emphasizing traits like cheerfulness or using mental strengths to compensate for physical shortfalls (This site can help with establishing color-based personalities). "Black" starts at level 5, "Red" starts at level 4, and the rest start at level 3. Alignments should be LN, LG, NG, or CG for the PCs while the GMPC can be CG, NG, TN, or CN. Races should be appropriate for a "civilized nation" so predominantly non-vile races should be used. If a race like Orc, Drow, Goblin, etc. is desired, it should have a very good backstory accompanying it. Include ability scores, feats, skills, traits, and equipment load-out (assume normal WBL for each character). Potential missions can include anything from hunting down very dangerous criminals, clearing dangerous caverns near settled areas, patrolling dangerous wilderness, etc. May also be used as elite scouts in very dangerous situations like major battles.

Ready... Set... GO!

How about we just wait until the Ultimate Intrigue Playtest to get the Vigilante class and go Vigilante/Cavalier VMC?

I think we should do this with Synthesist Summoners instead.

I think we should do this with Aegii instead.

Also, who decided those colors?

Shouldn't it be Purple, Red, Blue, Green, and Tan?

Yes! Not sure why Aegis didn't pop into my head at first. Guess it's because I don't do as much with them.

Bonus points if we can somehow give access to the Giant Size Wu Jen Spell from 3.5 [along with a reshaping to either a vehicle or animal form], flavor it as summoning their mecha, and finally grant them some way to combine them into a Colossal Humanoid-Shaped Psionic Power-Armor of Awesome.

May the [psionic] Power protect you.

Grand Lodge

<- Click this guy and remove the Level of Fighter. I suggest him for Black as if he is fighting His favored enemies he tends to 1 shot kill them. He also is known for Being overly strong handed on tactics. RUnning up and down walls, Charging from the ceilings, and Being a very fast scout. His backstory was he is an escaped slave who found his way to Last Wall and learned to ride. Because of his Size (halfling) he made a great scout and chose to ride a Gecko to maximize his scouting/Infiltration potential. He was trained with humans for years and has developed strong techniques for dealing with them. But also despises Slavers and Slave hunters. (Favored Enemy)

Red This is your Sword and Board style Build of Ranger. Being the Leader he would never ask the others to do something He is not willing to do. He is the Leader and always leads the Charge and ready to go Toe to Toe with anyone who threatens his team.

Yellow should be a Archer. Tends to dislike getting into fighting at close range and tries to retreat to a safe distance to shoot from.

Blue- should be a Switch hitter style of Ranger Good at both ranged and 2 handed fighting.

Pink- Reach Freebooter Ranger. Combat reflexes/Power attack with the ability to Freeboot and help people against things that are not their Favored enemies.

Did I mention....GO GO POWER RANGERS!!!!!

I prefer Red, Gray, Sepia, Salmon Pink, and Moss Green.

I think you mean "bubblegum pink", since salmon pink is a lot closer to that red than the one that's clearly pink.
