Haste Qu.

Rules Questions

If one has been hasted and then gains a new form of movement after, like say fly, would the fly speed be increased by the haste spell?

In other words, are you hasted in all ways for the duration, as the spell isn't an instantaneous effect or does it just alter your existing abilities.

Please and Thank You!

if you gain a new movement I'd say it's increased.

YOU are faster while the Haste spell is in effect. YOU. Not just your feet, not just your wings, not just your burrowing claws, not just your swimming fins. YOU. All of YOU.

If somehow you gain a new movement form and Haste is still in effect, then YOU are still faster - including all new forms of movement.

Grand Lodge

Your new movement form would be increased for as long as you had both Haste and it, regardless of which you got first.

Remember that it counts as an enhancement bonus. So it will not stack with other enhancements. It explicitly states that you do increase any movement type by 30 ft up to twice your base movement.
