Test of Tar'Kuata Chronicle - SPOILER

I just played Test of Tar'Kuata at Origins, and I have a question about the Chronicle sheet.

SPOILS:
The scenario includes recovering a piece of the Sky Key, but doesn't have that listed on the Chronicle at all. I have the Legacy of the Stonelords boon that allows me to re-gain a spent Prestige Point after recovering a Sky Key component.

Sky Key Core: "Each time you earn a Sky Key Component boon...."

I figured RAW means that the specific boon named "Sky Key Component" needs to appear on the Chronicle, so Test of Tar'Kuata doesn't count, but some of the GMs mentioned that while they didn't know what was correct, there is a case for getting the Prestige Point.

Is there an official ruling on this?

Hmmm.. definitely poke the higher ups worthy question.

No official ruling yet. We noticed it in the gm thread too but it either has not yet reached the eyes of campaign lead or it's a process ongoing.

Personally, I chose to not add the pp yet.

Very good question. FAQ'd - this needs a response.

Grand Lodge 2/5

I agree. This needs clarification.
But I guess we can be sure it is enough to put a mark on Faction Journal Card.

I assume that they just forgot the component bit on the chronicle sheet, if you want to be careful, just wait, and when the situation is cleared up talk to your GM about to.

Yeah I noticed this. We going to get a ruling on this?

It's a Sky Key Component, which is what the boon from Legacy of the Stonelords is looking for. I imagine it will be updated at some point on the chronicle, until then I'll allow my players with the previous boon to get the extra PP. All five of the scenarios with components on them have been released now, so this is clearly one that should count for the boon.

I agree with Walter

Silver Crusade 4/5

Probably one of those "we'll answer it all once we're done writing" kind of things.

A related question: if a character obtains pieces of the Sky Key and *then* plays Legacy of the Stonelords, does the character still receive the Prestige points, sort of all at once?

If not, then we should warn players not to play certain scenarios until they have first played Legacy.

I wouldn't think so, aren't boons applied in order, they wouldn't be retrospective unless it clearly said so.

Well Legacy is a special, so it'd be difficult for folks to play around that--essentially not playing 4 of the Season 6 scenarios because they need to play that special first.

It's just a neat bonus that some folks will get. No need to warn players against playing certain scenarios unless you know they are playing Legacy in the near future.

Good question for the faction boon cards as well, since at least one says "recover a piece of the sky key."
