Call for GMs: Pre-Gen Con PFS @ Scotty's Brewhouse Wednesday, July 29!

Attention Pathfinder GMs:

Each year, on the day before Gen Con begins, the Indianapolis Lodge offers FREE PFS gaming. This year, on Wednesday, July 29, we are back at Scotty's Brewhouse in downtown Indianapolis, just a few blocks walk from the Convention Center.

I am looking for GMs! I have some GM slots filled already, but need more! We have three slots:

8 a.m. 12:30 p.m.
12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
5 p.m. - 9 p.m.(Currently, all three tables in this slot having something assigned, but I'm still looking for GMs for the games that had been requested)

Anyone interested in GMing should drop me an email at mark.stratton@gmail.com. Let me know what slots you want to run, and which scenarios (though, if anyone is interested, we do have a request for all three parts of the Season 6 Scions of the Sky Key series) Try to pick scenarios that can fit in the time frame, and perhaps finish a few minutes early. It's a very tight schedule that doesn't allow for adjustments. So, if you're interested, drop me a note ASAP.

If you want to see what is currently scheduled, and to register, visit the Warhorn for this event HERE!. If you were at this event last year and were registered on the Warhorn, you should still be registered.

I provide chronicle and reporting sheets. If we get enough tables signed up, I can also ask for support, so there may be the possibility of some GM boons, too!

All players and GMs are required to buy food and drink (food service starts at 9 a.m.).

Figured that I should copy this to here:

I would LOVE to be part of a table that sat and played the 3 Scions of the Sky Key missions straight through with a single group of people for the whole day. Such a long endeavor is not one I've been able to participate in before, and I think that Scotty's would be a super fun environment to play such a series where we can sit, eat, drink, and roleplay a consistent party of characters from 8am-9pm (just think... 13 hours!). If this sounds like your idea of fun and you'd like to GM a game like that, please let Mark know!

Oh, and while I know it's not much, if someone steps up to GM the 3-parter and I'm at the table, I'll buy you a drink. Anyone willing to put that much effort in for the enjoyment of their fellow gamers deserves at least that much!

Can't GM all three slots this year Drake, Or I would take you up on the offer

Is that a drink for ea. session?
Does a pitcher a qualify as a drink?

3/5

Well, I can only guarantee one pint from myself. But I can make it all flourishy and obvious so as to try to get the other players to continue the bribery on their own afterwards.

Come people! Let's make the halls of Scotty's shake with the thunder of rolling dice! Indianapolis is a great city, GenCon is a great con, and Scotty's is a great great time! If you can't dedicate yourself to a three-parter, that's fine, but please do contact Mark about GM'ing anything you might be able to so that we can make this event as amazing as ever. Thanks!

Awesome Jay, glad to hear it!

Yarrr.

As mentioned elsewhere, I am looking forward to not getting stuck in the Phoenix airport all day and then being rerouted through Philadelphia on my way to Indy.

I am hoping to play the 8am slot at Scotty's but there are very few scenarios actually available to me (plenty of CORE though) and am hoping somebody will step up to GM one of them. (If not I'll burn a star and have a good time anyway)

Things I'm looking for:
5-23 Cairn of Shadow (5-9)
6-21 Tapestry's Toil (5-9)
6-22 Out of Anarchy (1-5)

Level 1 replayables, CORE tables.

Any more GMs out there willing to help make this event Awesome!?

Robert - I have added 6-21 Tapestry's Toil to the 8 a.m. slot - I'm checking with someone about GMing it. Stay tuned.

I'm really looking forward to joining in this year, since I won't be painting last minute robots this time around. I sent you an email to volunteer.

Sweet, you're my hero Mark :)

Since I'm not flying out till Monday maybe, maybe I can help pay the locals back by running True Dragon's of Absalom for the local VOs on Sunday night. (Should have 5th star by then)
