Eidolon as a class

Homebrew and House Rules

I was wondering if anyone knows of any third party or homebrew class that is, essentially, the eidolon from the summoner, but as a player? similar to the aegis, with customisation points, but with more of a natural focus.

I ask because I am considering playing a frieza-inspired character (not personality inspired, just appearance and ability inspired), and while the summoner archetype that has you merge with your eidolon seems the closest fit (meditation time required not withstanding), the rest of the abilities do not fit at all.

So that leaves me with the Aberrant, but it lacks any spellcasting, and we would be in an almost no-psionics campaign. There would be little to nothing in the way of psionic items and such.

Would this work?

The Exchange

Just use the Eidolon table from the summoner class going up 1 HD per level, saves are based on your base form 6 + Int Skills.

Class skills are: The following skills are class skills for eidolons: Bluff (Cha), Craft (Int), Fly (Dex), Knowledge (planes) (Int), Perception (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), and Stealth (Dex).
4 Additional skills of your choice.

Saves are based on your base form.

Your evolution points make up the bulk of your class features. Since you don't have a summoner around, I'd boos that up to 2 + Class Level Evolution points every level.

With 2 bonus points at 5, 10, 15, 20.

You also get Darkvision.

You lose Link and Share spells.

You gain Evasion at level 2.

Gain Devotion at level 5 (+4 morale bonus on Will Saves vs. enchantment)

Multi-Attack as a bonus feat at level 7.

Improved Evasion at Level 11.

That sounds like a pretty boring class IMO.

I could fly all day, was Immune to Fire, was crazy strong and had a suite of other pretty great abilities, and had GREAT FLAAAMING EYEBROWS!

It's true I wasn't very flexible in combat beyond being a crit build two-hander, but I had fun, and survived fighting the final boss if the campaign.

I prefer mine, super slam attacks plus teleporting and the whole "fly all day, was Immune to Fire, was crazy strong and had a suite of other pretty great abilities, and had GREAT FLAAAMING EYEBROWS!" thing :P

Think its feasible to replace the summoner spell-list with the magus spell-list (keeping the spell that heals the eidolon), swap the summon monster spell-like abilities with bonus feats (similar to what the TPP True Professional does for the Rogue's sneak attack) but otherwise use the archetype that bonds with the eidolon? Would that work?
