Without seeing the WotR set, I'm still favoring CD Kyra over WotR Kyra. The maxxed static +10 to str:melee checks with a sword is very strong (esp. after the FAQ adding "may" to the added traits effect), and allows more supportive spells to be slotted instead of packing heals.

My two most dedicated players used Kyra (Class Deck) and Seoni (Runelords) during Season 0, so they may be trying out their WotR versions this season. Although I personally really like the new version of Seoni and would like to try her out at some point, I am planning to run Enora with the Wizard Class Deck. Can't Wait!!

Report: WotR Kyra was pretty awesome. Lots of demons to fight, so recharging spells to blast them was great. The small healing for doing so or playing Blessings on others' checks to defeat was also wonderful. I did not miss the cleric discard to heal instead of your first explore power, since our table won on the final turn of the game.

I played CD Kyra in Season 0 and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have decided, however, NOT to play her WotR version in Season 1.
I will admit that the "mini-heals" sound pretty awesome, but there just aren't that many Divine attack spells in the deck box to make me feel comfortable that I'll be able to handle the non-undead, non-demon monsters.

If Zarlova can make it through I think Kyra should be able to as well.
Zarlova's a monster though. After a few skill feats she's nearly guaranteed to recharge her attack spells, and by top-decking them she's as reliable in combat as a fighter.
WotR Kyra is much more vulnerable. If she's not up against a demon or undead -- and there seems to be a lot of monsters in that not-either category -- she's relying on 3 attack spells and a so-so weapon ability.
I'm probably going to play WotR Kyra but I'm anticipating a lot of the caster "I'm not ready for combat" anxiety.
