The Biggest Problem with Wrath of the Righteous...

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

Why do all of the characters seem like so much fun to play? I have been skimming the character sheets and I just cannot seem to make up my mind. I want to start out with a small group of no more than three (I am running a party of four through Rise of the Runelords again and my group of five is still stuck on Home Sweet Home in Skull and Shackles).

I have never really liked Harsk but I want to give him a try. Crowe just seems awesome. The Inquisitor? I don't know.

I predict many sleepless nights pondering this.

Long Live the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game!

I felt the same way. This is my very first Pathfinder game and I had a very hard time deciding. I went with Harsk first and really liked him. Just to try out some others I ran a solo scenario with the inquisitor and I didn't really care for her compared to Harsk. I then did another campaign with Balazar and absolutely love his mechanic. I've always leaned towards fighting characters, but really liked the wizard type. He seems to be a great balance of both.

Congratulations Paizo. You've successfully made a product where the biggest problem is that it's too awesome haha

I second this. I think with one power, you may have completely messed up my plans.

I've been talking about playing Alain ever since the first information crept out (there's something really quite metal about bringing a horse to a demon fight), but then there it was:

She's so in favor with the gods, she can basically time travel

I can't wait for this set, it's on it's way in the mail. I'm going to go for the characters that seems most fun to play as usual, but since I now got some fancy lookin' miniatures, I'm probably going to go for characters I have miniatures of.

Though Kyra was a no-brainer for me, since I loved her from RoTR. I think Alain, Balazar and Imrijka is the other three I'm going for.

I'm going to study those character sheets, and I'll probably change my mind several times doing that. :)

I still don't know why anyone would pick Harsk ... ugggh.

;(

Silver Crusade

I pretty much wanted to play Imrijka since I saw she was in the set, because I love inquisitors. I was worried she would end up being terrible, and I would be sad. But a 50% chance of a free exploration after fighting a monster? Ranged based on strength? Wisdom-based knowledge? All with a fabulous red hat? Hand me that aklys from the character addon pack, because I'm going to be throwing it at demons.

Ooh, and it occurs to me that Wrath Kyra in Season of the Righteous could totally be a thing...

Liberty's Edge

Honestly this Harsk is rather appealing +2d4 to your checks to beat demons, animals, and vermin before even getting a role card? The Demonslayer role looks awesome, boosting that to 2d6, granting an extra explore if you kill a demon, and gaining Knowledge at d8+2. Seems solid.

Granted.. the only characters out of all of these that I'm not interested in playing are Alain and Kyra. Leaning towards Adowyn atm if she becomes available shortly into the OP.

I believe Theryon was being sarcastic, based on his avatar.

I homebrewed a character that as it turns out has VERY similar skills and powers to the shaman. I guess I know who I'll play as.

Then again I don't. That hunter looks amazeballs.

Hang on, I'm not even done reading all the character sheets (I'm reading them backwards.) Back in a few.

Oh goodness, there are so many cool choices!

My Criteria For assembling my party of six was do they have an Iconic heroe figure available from the new sets?

So with that in mind I am going with

Alain
Balazar
Imrijka
Kyra
Seelah
Seoni

I think barriers will be my biggest problem, but thematically I don't think this will be a traditional trap heavy adventure

We will see!

Exactly this. I'm a sucker for divine casters anyway, and Imrijka is just so darn *cool*.

So when is the Inquisitor Class Deck coming out?
