While I'm not sure if I'm going to go with this concept, as this character will probably be the only tiefling I get for pfs, I'd like to ask if this character concept would actually be something that could occur in the setting of Golarion.
The idea is that the tiefling has always worried that the taint of his blood also tainted his soul, and that it would damn him to an unfortunate afterlife. While he studied some of Pharasma's doctrine to see if there were any way to win the deity's favor to get her to look over his demonic heritage, he found no way to sway her decision, he did however see an opportunity in psychopomps. So he sought out a way to bind one to himself so that it may provide an unbiased testimony of his deeds after he dies, in an effort to be judged by his actions and not his foul blood.
Now the question is would a psychopomp actually willing be bound to a tiefling? From what I'm gathering they pretty much hate everything whose mingling with mortals makes tieflings. It's also said in the psychopomp eidolon's description that they will not work with summoners who traffic with demons and such, but what if I am slightly demonic in nature? Which brings me to questions two.
Would a psychopomp be biased in my judgement upon death because I am a tiefling? This would also defeat the point of the concept.

I wrote the Unchained psychopomp eidolon flavor description, and I think they would absolutely provide an unbiased account of your true nature, as shown by your deeds. As servants of the goddess of birth, they wouldn't judge you for your birth, as that was outside of your control, but instead for the actions you chose in your life.

Ah sweet. Thanks for clarifying, didn't expect to actually get one of the writers to clear that up. As a side note I'm not sure how much of unchained you worked on but I'd like to say that I think it's awesome work, and definitely think everyone who worked on it deserves a pat on the back.
It was the four of us on the design team who worked on it, mainly.
Also, I agree with Arachnofiend and Kalindlara that it's a really cool concept! I was hoping people would be inspired to things like that with the flavor on psychopomps.
