YES please! While still a few years off, this would open the door to even more Marvel and Star Wars productions.

In bonus Star Wars News briliantly funny Simon Pegg just outed the fact that he and James Bond have small hidden cameos in The Force Awakens.

Is it December yet?

Ja!

The Empire of der Maus must have living space!

Did you hear they are also going to hire Whedon to write and direct all the new shows Marvel and Star Wars?

Can we get a TV show about Star Wars bounty hunters? I feel like that's a thing that needs to exist.

A whole channel? Probably unsustainable.

Loads of reruns combined with a couple of shows you can't get anywhere else, so you're still stuck with buying the channel if you want to see any of them (before they're out on DVD).

They could show even more of Boba Fett failing to ever do anything impressive.

Oh, don't worry. Just for you, they've hired Ed Greenwood to co-write Star Wars! The Force has been renamed the Weave, and episode VIII will feature Elminster becoming a jedi!

And being lauded for it.

Oh, do NOT mess with Alton Brown!

I LOVE Alton Brown! Alton is awesome!

I like Alton Brown too. It is someone else who does not like him. Someone who shall remain unnamed.

I don't see an issue with this.

Yeah, this isn't so different from Netflix. You pay for a bunch of stuff you don't watch to get to see the stuff you do. And if you decide you do want to watch the stuff you don't watch, you already have it at your fingertips.

I think they could fill half their programming with stuff they already have made. My god there are a lot of animated TV shows.

I know I started this but I think that is enough terrorizing Freehold DM and giving him nightmares for weeks.

Just borrow the plans Time Warner has for their "customer care and retention" facility.

Liberty's Edge

According to Whedon he's dedicating his next three trilogies to Freehold and sending the dailies directly into his mind.

Death Satellites won't protect you from the Nightmares...

starts an organized resistance, which with very little resources still manages to fight and distract the now-suborned Death Satellite and the Empire of the Mouse. The Satellite gets exploded by a single surviving fighter pilot, and shows a magnificent ring-shaped detonation.

May the Whedon be with you.

*shrug* Weird. Pointless channel is pointless.

Well, now that all the Expanded Universe books are no longer Star Wars canon... Boba Fett was digested by Sarlaac like he should have been.

I actually read the Bounty Hunter trilogy and I want those hours of my life back! In the EU Boba Fett was like a god. He literally takes out an entire Imperial base out single-handed. I rolled my eyes so hard they popped out and I had to shove them back in.

Yeah. Netflix I can watch whatever I want to watch, whenever I want to watch it. with a network...I have to tailor my schedule around what I want to watch, and 90% of the time nothing will be on I have a remote interest in.

I'd rather get more Marvel Netflix shows that I can watch at my leisure, than a station I will ignore or forget about most of the time, assuming I even have cable.

And assuming that if you do have cable, your cable package has that channel (i.e. you may have to pay even more for the re-run filled channel and a smattering of new shows, that will also quickly be re-run)... or even if your cable provider has that channel available at all.

In the actual canon, he's pretty inept. In ESB, Vader scolds him like a child, and he takes a frozen Han after the Empire does the work of freezing him. In RotJ, he get outfought by a half-blind Han, and falls into a giant sand vagina.

Liberty's Edge

Not to mention being played like a violin during the clone wars.

I loved the episode where he swore vengeance. That the jedi were ambivalent towards someone who had a good reason to hate them was a defining moment.
