Today, the bunting is out and the bourbon is flowing at Raging Swan Press’s Global HQ!

Endzeitgeist has (finally) released his Top Ten of 2014!

Rather marvellously—even tremendously, in fact—Raging Swan Press’s GM’s Miscellany: Dungeon Dressing and GM’s Miscellany: Wilderness Dressing came in jointly in the number one slot!

This is a tremendous achievement and a testimony to the skilled freelancers heroically slaving away over our adventures and supplements. Dozens of people worked on the two books and I wanted to thank Ben Armitage, Alexander Augunas, Aaron Bailey, John Bennett, Seamus Connelly, Jeff Erwin, James Graham, Brian Gregory, Eric Hindley, Ben Kent, Thomas King, Greg Marks, Andrew J. Martin, Jacob W. Michaels, Brian Wiborg Monster, Julian Neale, Chad Perrin, David Posener, Brian Ratcliff, Pierre van Rooden, Liz Smith, Josh Vogt and Mike Welham for all their hard work and dedication. The books wouldn’t exist without them. Thank you also to Endzeitgeist himself and everyone who has purchased, used and/or reviewed the books.

I think the two books are tremendous GM’s Resources—shockingly, I use them both in my own Borderland of Adventure campaign—and I couldn’t be prouder of them. I could go on—and I want to—but I think I’ll leave the last word to Endzeitgeist himself:

“These books have improved my game in ways I couldn’t ever have fathomed.

The level of detail and believability and compelling world-building has soared with the introduction of these two books. I use them in every game I DM – PFRPG, DCC, 13th Age – no matter. Much like some old classics like the dungeoneer’s guide in 2nd edition, these books will be used for decades to come…These books belong into every DM’s library, regardless of system. They were also, hands down, my easiest choice for a number 1 spot ever. If you or your DM don’t own these, do your game a favor and buy them ASAP – I guarantee that your game will be vastly enhanced…”

Congratulations! I'm not surprised you made the top ten, although I probably wouldn't have guessed you'd be number one. You deserve it!
