Yea I picked mine up from Hastings yesterday. Amazon also claims it would be delivered Monday I order it, so it looks like they're likely selling it early as well.
I didn't know what the release date was, but I was definitely pretty sure Hastings broke it when I walked out of there.
Sometimes it happens, but 99% of the people who have it are probably subscribers (they frequently get the product early)

True with the adventure decks, but historically subscribing to the base set has meant you got everything late -- including all your other subscriptions.
(Paizo had pretty major shipping problems around relase for RotR and S&S. Hopefully that's not the case with WotR.)

Well S&S initial timeframe was problematic for everything PACG, subscription or not, base set or not, being the first time the new printer had to deal with a new PACG product (plus class decks). Runelords I would think was a pretty similar situation, I doubt they expected the customer base to be anywhere near what it ended up being (I didn't subscribe till between 2/3 of Runelords so I didn't even know they had problems releasing that). At this point they've got their bases covered and it appears to be going just fine. I don't know that two products is enough to call it "historically", especially with both having such major events to deal with.

Is 2 out of 2 better represented as "every time" or "too small a sample size" -- soon we'll know. It was enough of a trend that I *seriously* considered canceling my Card Game subscription for WotR for that reason alone. I was sure kicking myself when S&S came out and I hadn't done so even though I *knew* better.
Mostly didn't want to leave the statement unchallenged that subscribers always get things early, because that can lead to disappointment. Sometimes they get them early, sometimes they get them late. The reason to subscribe is for the promos, or the automatic nature of it, or the relationship with Paizo. Not for early access.

At hastings did you also get the promos?
Where are the promos from which appeared on ebay?pH unbalanced |
I'm a subscriber, so it looks like I should be getting it soon?
Have you gotten your shipping email yet? They started shipping on Tuesday, and are projected to finish shipping on 5/22. If you got your shipping email then it's left the building and you should have a tracking number.
If not, then hopefully they'll get to it soon. (Mine hasn't shipped yet.)
A good place to follow the process is in the Shipping thread for the month (Here's May's) in the Customer Service forum.

Hastings almost 100% would not have the promos, since one of them is labeled as a convention promo and should only be available at cons and to subscribers. I'd also think it's very unlikely that they'd even have the retail promo unless Paizo's promo distribution has changed. You'll typically only find retail promos at dedicated gaming specialty stores, if you find them even there. The promos on eBay are likely from subscribers.

Like Pluvia said, one of the promos was a convention promo so you won't find it at stores. My copy didn't have promos, but I subscribed to the Character add on deck so I can get the promos so I don't care.

Odds are it has shipped. See this post for an explanation.
UPS Says a label was created on 5/16, not that it has shipped yet. But I have seen it where things were in this state and I got the item before UPS had updated. Last night when I looked at UPS they didn't even have info yet for the tracking number, so it's moved one state at least. :)
I'm not in a hurry, when it gets here it gets here.

I knew how much I cared about Paizo and PACG as I walked out of Hastings. When I see a video game or other media breaking release date, I think "Oh man this is awesome I can't wait to get home with it!!"
With PACG, I walked out thinking "Oh man this is awesome, I can't wait to get home!!... but I feel a little dirty doing this..." haha

I am told that Amazon has already been corrected to taking preorders only.
Yeah, I just checked and it's showing as pre-order only now. Whoops.
I thought it was odd that it came in before my subscription Character Add-on did... it's going to be a pretty, precious, paper-weight until Season of the Righteous starts anyway.
