I suspect that this has been answered in one of the innumerable threads but my search fu was weak today.
This is for PFS so I'm interested in the Rules As Written answer.
To give an example, Monks robe acts differently for Monks and other classes. Does an Unchained Monk count as a Monk ?
Obviously, they "Should" count as monks. But Hero Lab thinks they don't and if at all possible I wanted an official answer or a rules citation before submitting a bug report.

I believe this is the closest you'll get:
These classes can be used alongside their original counterparts (although individual characters must use one version or the other exclusively). Some feats, rage powers, rogue talents, and other rules might not work with the unchained classes, and such rules should be reviewed before being used with the new versions.
To me that's saying that they count, but not everything will work right with the changes.

Yes, with the exception of cases where it can't work, such as Monk robes, etc. Monk robes were designed to advanced the old Monk, not the new, and the two are too structurally different for the robe to work on the unchained version.

Uh, the Monk's Robes boost Unarmed Damage, AC, and Stunning Fist, all of which the Unchained version has at the same level and with the same rules as the old version.
