Yeah, I think me and him went at it in another bestiary wishlist thread. Dude's an a&&*+~$, and those posts show him as an misogynistic a@#&*@& as well. And while the mods didn't delete the second post at least Joe and Kthu called him on it, so they care.

Making little comments here and there are one thing but after building a history of comments and remarks its starting to wear thin. If he keeps doing stuff like this let me know and I'll help flag and even contact the mods if I have to.

And you are not a freak for reacting negatively when someone bullies you. You're human. A very beautiful whose posts I enjoy seeing on these forums.

Thank you very much for your kind words. It means more to me than I can say. <3

Unfortunately, I don't think I have it in me to give him the chance. It's sickening to even open those threads, let alone post. He just started posting here, which was upsetting; I decided to delete my response (asking if I was allowed to post in that thread any more).

I liked that thread... but I'm being driven out. That's how it feels, anyway.

I never thought to describe it as such, but bullying is the right word. If I do manage to get over this somehow, and he continues, I may take you up on that offer of assistance.

@Kalinlara: I for one enjoy your posts and most people here are not like that poster. Actually I really don't think people here like him much. At least I am always seeing him butt heads with people.

He has issues....anything he personally does not like he has to attack it as bad...not simply as ( hopefully most people would) accept the fact that people have different tastes. Generally I don't even bother reading his posts. I suggest that ahould do the same...people like him are not worth the time or effort in dealing with them.

Any I for one hope top see many more posts from you.

@Rysky: Sorry for be off topic(by not asking you a question)...hopefully I did not just earn a higher ranking as your stool.

JK, we are in an off-topic thread, remember?

Rysky, chinese or japanese food?

Kalindlara:

I used to work night shifts behind the reception in a hotel.
A previous manager, an utter B!tch, kept reminding everybody to always be polite and smile and precise.

One day i heard from colleagues she had to help at another location, where she messed up doing the almost exact opposite. The guests she was (not) helping, happened to be personal friends of the hotel-chain's (for lack of a better word) manager.

If he keeps being a d!ck with a capital D, there's bound to be some point where he's going to get a moonboot up his rear. Hold on. :)

Kalindlara:
Yeah, that guy has been a bit notorious on these boards for years. One of the reasons he more often uses a secondary alias now rather than his main one, I suppose.

I think the reason the posts got left up was that he was kind of oblique—passive aggressive at least—in his pushing. The mods try and be as lenient as possible on the boards and they leave up a lot more than most companies would. While good in theory and generally in practice, it does mean that some rude or callous stuff remains.

Still I for one have always found your posts a refreshing respite from the self-absorbed pontificating that often resounds on the products and gaming threads. Please don't let one self-centered, annoying person drive you away from that.

*sigh*

A part of me wants to go all "Master Pugwampi" on his butt and disagree with every statement that he says in as many posts as I can get away with, just 'cuz. >:)

But then I would stoop to jerk level. My evil side just isn't that strong.

My advice? Ignore his posts and just keep posting. We need more sunshine in here! :D

Haven't read it in awhile so there's some catching up to do but from what I saw there wasn't a clear cut older/newer style but one that changes from chapter to chapter. So no opinion atm.

K I'll give it a shot, but from the first couple pages it comes across as a little too silly for my tastes.

In counterpart to that I would recommend Sunstone (also NSFW).

... it annoys me that I forgot to add that to my webcomic list.

Yes, it is an awesome story... unless they want a f*&#ton for them, can't check B&N and Amazon while at work so don't know what the price is but I'd assume it's the average for graphic novels.

Why don't you like reading them on DA?

They are not badly priced at B&N...

Occasionaly I originally did find some your's annoying when after getting an answer you kept asking the same question and getting more and more specific to the point of tedium but you're not as bad as you you used to be, to me anyway.

So to answer your question no you don't annoy me, for the most part I enjoy seeing all your questions and looking into how your thought process and character creation flows, much more specific and organized than mine :3

Not until they bring back that cool thread where we could post targeting positions for the admins.

John Kretzer wrote:

J.K.Rowling and the Harry Potter series, without her and them I probably wouldn't have ended up with an imagination.

On the completely opposite end of the spectrum Goth by Otsuichi is probably my favourite book of all time.

I have a weakness for Vampire Hunter D though I'm pretty sure it's because of Yoshitaka Amano rather than the overflowing purple prose.

The Graveyard Book is probably my favourite Neil Gaiman.

And of course I've swimming in my enjoyment of all the Pathfinder tales at the moment.

And I'm not just being dramatic, I literally curled up and held my cat and cried and cursed until I fell asleep. I didn't read anything else for awhile and about gave up reading the Pathfinder fiction completely.

Reading that story just... hurt.

I still haven't completely gotten over it, finishing that story I was the most miserable I think I've ever been. It kinda numbed the events that happened in Pirates Promise when I read that book later.

John Kretzer wrote:

It's the fiction from the Council of Thieves Adventure Path - the first appearance of Varian and Radovan, predating Prince of Wolves.

It is also, indeed, very, very dark.

If you don't own the Adventure Path, you can get it here.
