PaizoCon Hotel Room block sold out

The PaizoCon hotel room reservation block appears to be sold it. Have there been cancellations or will a block of more rooms be made available?

I don't know if it will still be the case, but when I made reservations a few months ago, I got a better deal outside of the block of rooms.

Theoretically, the hotel block was sold out a long time ago. Call the hotel direct and tell them you want a room that weekend and that you are visiting because of the convention. Maybe you will get a better rate, but likely you will receive the con rate. It's what I did.

I made my reservation a few weeks ago, after the block was closed up. They may have rooms but you'll be paying normal hotel prices.

There's also a La Quinta across the street and a Red Lion down the road about a block and a half. Both of those are cheaper than the standard rate for Doubletree. (About the same as the con rate).

The La Quinta rooms are nice and there's a free continental breakfast. I've never stayed at the Red Lion.

I'm in the days inn down the block also a cheaper route.
