pole fighting and multiple Aoo's

Rules Questions

when i have a reach weapon and the polearm master class(which allows the user to choke down on the grip of a reach weapon to use it within a 5-foot range of you as a IMMEDIATE ACTION)

i have someone charging at me,i get a Aoo on them for trying to move out of my 10 foot threatening range, after that attack can i use a immediate action to shorten my grip to hit him with another Aoo when he enters my adjacent square

and of course i have the combat reflexes feat to get multiple Aoo's a round

Why would you get an AoO for someone entering your adjacent square? You don't. Also, you only get one AoO on someone moving through your threatened area, no matter how many threatened squares he leaves.

That said, if you took an AoO at 10' and shortened your grip, you would get an AoO if he cast a spell or provoked with some other action other than movement (and you had combat reflexes).

yeaaaa not sure what was i thinking even if it does do what i think its doing i still get only 1 attack, its really late

Well, there is the fortuitous property, which lets you (once per turn) to get a second AoO in at BAB-5. But that is for the same action (crossing the 10' line), delivered at the same time as the 1st AoO, and as such you could do it whether you are a polearm master or not.

The only advantage of polearm master is when someone draws an AoO while next to you. For the full image, imagine an enemy walks up to you (getting 1 AoO) and then they try a maneuver without the right feats (the second AoO). Other polearm users would either have to eat it, or use armor spikes/unarmed strikes/etc. rather than their nice powered up 2 handed weapon.
