Our Kingmaker Game has lost its GM and if anyone is interested in taking over that would be awesome. We really haven't gotten very far; we are still first level.
If you are interested please check out This Thread and post there.

Hi there. I'm not in a position where I can GM another game (currently GMing three different APs), but if you find a GM, I would also like to be contacted regarding a playing position. If regular, I'd like to play a fighter, and if gestalt, I'd combine it with alchemist. In the interest of disclosure, one of the games I'm running is Kingmaker, but I'm capable of keeping IC knowledge separate from OOC knowledge.

Thanks for your interest, guys.
I am vaguely familiar with gestalt, though I cannot find any reference to it in the PRD or the d20pfsrd. Is it a 3.5 thing? As far as I understand, gestalt means incorporating two character classes at once, yes?
I'm not sure about gestalt as it will require basically a complete overhaul of existing characters. I can see how I would rejigger my character somewhat for it but that really becomes a different character. Also the gestalt rules would need to be available somewhere online.
Tsriel, if you really want to run a gestalt game maybe you would be better off opening up a new campaign. I probably would submit a character for it. Seeing as the characters would have to be rewritten anyway starting fresh might be the easiest way to go.
Anyway, I encourage you guys to post in the Recruitment Thread for the actual campaign as this is mainly an announcement.

Gestalt Rules
You are right, basically you incorporate 2 classes into one. It's a more high-powered game, but usually will not go completely crazy(for that, there's mythic).
The thing is, you don't REALLY have to redo your characters in a big way. Just slam something on that synergizes and you're fine.
(e.g. Barbarian<=get=> Fighter. Oracle<=get=>Paladin. Ranger<=get=> Rogue)
of course optimization is harder but its not that difficult to make an effective gestalt char. up to you guys of course. maybe have a chat among yourselves because if you're not comfortable with this then it's pointless.

I'm one of the players in this game. I'm pretty sure I can speak for everyone in the game saying, whatever the DM wants tweak is fine. We just want to play.
I've got no problem adding gestalt. I've not played in a gestalt game yet, but understand how it works.
Thank you for your interest, by the way.

For me, I don't mind gestalt in principle, but my character has been crafted in such a way that I have accounted for just about all the various elements of the character's abilities in his back story. Adding a whole second class throws the story completely out of whack. And to me the story is a big part of what makes the character fun.
So I would feel for a gestalt game I would have to essentially create a new character.
If I had to add another class to Numalar I would probably add cavalier, though most of the cavalier's abilities would be wasted.

@ Astereal & MordredofFairy:
It looks like we have a new GM for our Kingmaker Game. So please get a character ready!
Basically what we need right now is a full martial melee character and a partial caster, like a bard, warpriest, inquisitor, or magus. It would be nice if one of those characters used an Aldori Dueling Sword for thematic reasons but I don't see that as a requirement. Both the characters we lost were melee fighters though our warpriest was a bit more MAD. None of our remaining characters have a particularly high STR.
All our characters were made with 30-point buy. Originally all PCs were core-only races but we have a new GM so that might not be a requirement any more.
Please pipe up in the recruitment thread here:

I am sending this to both of you as a PM as well just in case.
