I am/have been running a Star Wars saga game. I want to involve the deadspace monsters into it. Can anyone help me create them? I am really bad when it comes to creating new monsters.
Having never played Dead Space, I can't say a thing about the creatures there, but I've found (as have many other GM's) that the easiest way to do something like this is to search through the already existing creature list, find something that does more or less what you want, and then fiddle with the numbers and descriptions a bit until it's where you like it.
Baseline, throw-away monsters can be simple combat droids, for instance.
Really badass "Boss monsters" can be cribbed entirely from major NPC's that have more or less the stats and abilities you're looking for.
And so on.
I know that's not much, but I'm stuck at work and can't do a lot of examples. Sorry about that.
