Burn Rider Mount vs Bestial Mount for Mounted Fury

Rules Questions

I was wondering if anyone could explain why the Burn Rider Mount feature takes up four rage power slots while the Bestial Mount for Mounted Fury only replaces uncanny dodge and improved uncanny dodge, especially since the latter seems to offer more variety for mounts.

Something to remember is that the Archetype as a package should be balanced, not each trade. So yeah the animal companion trade is worse, but you have a better trade for your movespeed and some of the other things you gain.

Thanks! On reviewing the two archetypes side by side I realized that the uncanny dodge and improved uncanny dodge were already replaced in the case of the Burn Rider, so the lower level and replacing the various rage powers made more sense.
