They print a limited run only for the PaizoCon issues, like the upcoming issue #13, which are freely handed out to convention goers. Typically, they have a very small number left over, which Paizo graciously offers to sell, with all proceeds (and those from the very nice publishers who bought ads) going to cover for the print run and any expenses. I don't think Tim and Paris (or WonderGninja Liz who kicked it all off) ever got so much as half a pizza out of it... it's all been an (exhausting) labor of love for them.
I have heard that some intrepid Paizonians have gotten them printed at their local Kinkos/UPS Store, but I don't have any personal experience attempting it.

And, no, I don't think they make toys or anything like that. Wayfinders are typically like compasses, but that's not the only way they can look, either.
