Hello All-
I recently received Boon #5 from Season 6. It allows you to purchase higher dollar items with Prestige than would normally available. Here is the breakdown (and for those who already know, I'm sorry):
2PP 1,000 gp or less
4PP 2,000 gp or less
6PP 3,500 gp or less
Now considering it doesn't take too long to accumulate 6PP for a starting character, is there a limit on what you can buy? Can I spend this on a potential pet? Specifically an egg that can be raised as a mount / companion with the Handle Animal skill?
If this is an obvious answer, I apologize. Thanks in advance for all your help.

The limit to what you can buy is any item that's already legally available (as seen in the PFS Additional Resources). I don't believe there are any eggs that legal for purchase for PFS. Though, as with the normal 2PP-750g purchase, you don't have to have to the required Fame before you can purchase an item of that cost.
And holy crap that's a good boon. My season six boons are nowhere near as interesting.
edit: This is of course assuming there's no extra wording on the boon that didn't make it into your post. I've not seen the boon in question and my answer is based off of the rules set forth in the PFS Guide to Organized Play and the snippet you provided.

There is more to the Boon, and it involves Day Job rolls, but the OP has quoted the relevant bits.
It is a really cool Boon. I got one last year and was happy to see they kept them this year.
To answer the initial question, only legal items can be "purchased" with this Boon. Eggs are not legal. Usually the most popular items I've seen acquired for 6pp were Adamantine weapons and lesser Metamagic Rods.
Handy Haversack and Ring of Protection +1 for 4pp.
And Pearls of Power for 2pp.
There was debate last year about how many times the Boon could be used, but neither version lists a limit (other than the requisite Day Job roll, and a waiting period).
