Need an Adventuring Party of Goodie Goodies

Advice

Running WotW book two and I want to toss a couple adventuring parties at the evil doers' dungeon, in addition to the ones in the book. So I am looking for some good characters dead set on stopping the PC's from carrying out their evil plot.

The heroes will have to work through a dungeon created by the PC's.

So I am looking for your most min maxed characters for this. Level 8 PC Wealth, 25 point buys.

GO!

This is going to sound like a crazy idea but...

Don't min max your adventurers?

No, wait, hear me out. It's just that the book does not offer that much support for the actual construction of the dungeon. Unless you're houseruled in real trap construction, or you gave them access to much more (or much better) monsters than the book gives out, the adventurers will have an easy time rolling over everything in there if they can take it piecemeal (i.e. like a dungeon), leaving only the PCs to stop them.

The best strategy, therefore, is pretty much just make a bunch of stupid slowing tactics so the PCs can gather together, locate the adventurers, and then jump them with as many minions as they're willing to commit.

If you want to flesh out the dungeon game, I'd recommend it, but I don't think the best way to do it is to just add more attackers. It would be much better if the book provided both a much harder dungeon (or more resources to only spend on the dungeon) and some sort of reason for the PCs to avoid taking part in the fighting (but not such a compelling reason they'd rather let the dungeon get taken than fight it out mano a mano).

Anyway. I came at it from the player side. Our small group managed to trounce the stock adventurers every time. Usually outside the dungeon or just within it. The minions never did anything worthwhile, save for the alchemy golem, who was semi-useful. More adventurers would have just led to more massive group battles.

Giant list of NPCs. Grab any level and CR you want, change a few letters if necessary, enjoy.

The Exchange

Ah I see the high cheese option selected. It's time to rock and roll.

Lets get to business.

Half orc lorewarden/maneuver master:

Lv 3 (lorewarden 2): iron will, power attack
Lv 5(lore warden 4): Improved grapple, paired opportunist

For party "rogue", lets use an urban ranger instead.

Ranger base stats:
Str 16, dex 14, con 14, int 13, wis 14, cha 11

Feats:
Lv 1 :Combat reflexes
Lv 3: power attack
Lv 5: Paired opportunist
Lv 7: Exotic wep profeciency (falchard)

chooses archery combat style for ranger feats.

Party cleric (evangelist of horus)-human

Base stats:

Str 9, dex 10, con 14, int 10, wis 16, cha 18

Feats:
Lv 1: scion of war, selective channeling
Lv 3: versatile channel
Lv 5: boon companion (Anklyosaurus for fighter to ride)
Lv 7: improved channel

Please abuse the crap out of rulership domain dazing channels.

Party wizard:
Your standard blaster wizard with a dazing rod.

Note: I was trying to aim for crit fishing using outflank, gang up, but I ran out of feats. I originally wanted to make the fighter a pally but wouldn't get to do trip line.

Grand Lodge

I'll feed the Beast and throw down a Front Liner for this Goody Good Group.

Potion of Invisibility- 300gp
Potion of Enlarge Person- 50gp

Use everything at your disposal with this character and hold nothing back....expendables are expendables for a reason..Use them.
He will always Choose Displacement over Haste...ALWAYS...his AC needs the 50% miss chance to allow all that fast healing to kick in.

Before facing the PCs use his scroll of Monstrous Physique 1 to turn into a Popobala. The party Pokedex will read him as a CR 15 creature and think you're Immune to disease, nausea, poison, sickened, stunning. Will make him think twice about using spells with those effects on you....but SURPRISE. Perhaps use the Resist energy to apply their favorite element just to add an extra nail to the coffin.

Always use every action you possibly can...burn mythic to make sure you get to your opponent and get that sweet damage.

Hope you like using him.
