If I am "he," then I'm not "almost right." I am precisely right: being a Swashbuckler is not a prerequisite for taking Slashing Grace.
There may be other problems with taking Slashing Grace, but that is another matter.
No, because Kalindlara's post was predicated on the idea of getting Dex to both attack and damage being the problem at hand. Slashing Grace was proposed as a solution to the problem, and Kalindlara stated that you'd need either a level in Swashbuckler or an Effortless Lace; not as a prerequisite to take the feat, but as necessary for the feat to solve the problem of getting Dex to attack and damage while using TWF. Thus, you are "almost right" in that your contribution, while technically correct, was as useless to the actual topic being discussed.
