So looking at the Backerkit survey (yeah, late I know). The players guide is $7.50 (for just the softcover), not $5 for the softcover & pdf as mentioned in the KS. Is this because it includes shipping to non-US, or just a price increase?

EDIT: Nevermind, not really relevant.
When's the next KS? :P

My understanding was that we didn't make it to the printed players guide, so they still threw it in as an option (since it was highly requested) but had to adjust the price since that funding level wasn't met.

P.S. Auxmaulous is correct on this. We didn't hit the funding goal but made $7.50 as the price as our compromise to still release the hardcopy book and at a somewhat discounted rate. (We would normally sell if for $10 without the print funding.)

I don't want to start another thread for a small topic so I thought I would ask my question here.

Would anyone be interested in the NPC's of Bard's Gate being updated to PF rules?

Most of the book describes the city itself so would not necessarily need to be updated. But the NPC's were written for the 3.5 era. Granted they could be updated on the fly by anyone using the book. I am just curious.

Absolutely!

I would love to see this also. My only concern is that there are way more "base" classes in PF, so some of these NPCs might be better served in a re-imagined format considering these new options than say a straight and direct conversion to PF. That being said, any effort in this (I hate stating up NPCs - this is my weak spot in design and creating content) would be greatly appreciated.

I started piddling with the NPC's in HeroLab. Using only PF material and FGG material. I'll keep anyone interested updated. I have all PF Campaign Setting and Player Companion files so I have a wide selection of choices.

I am very interested in the Bards Gate NPCs being converted.

Hi Guys! You are in luck; a new updated and greatly expanded Bard's Gate book is already in the works and slated to be one of our 2016 releases. The conversion is mostly done, and Casey Christofferson is hard at work adding new city materials and tie-in adventures. Matt Finch and I will be further expanding on the history of BG in the Lost Lands as well as delving into details of its vast sphere of influence in the Gulf of Akados (along the lines of what we've done in Cults of the Sundered Kingdoms and the upcoming Borderlands Provinces). No firm date yet as we're focusing on the more immediate releases of 2015, but never fear, Bard's Gate is on the not-too-distant horizon and getting the Rappan Athuk treatment of being bigger, better, and badder than ever before.

For some foreshadowing and hints in regards to its area of influence, see the adventure "Vengeance in the Hollow Hills" in Cults of the Sundered Kingdoms. There is a large sidebox giving an extensive glimpse into the Bard's Gate hegemony and just now in the world one of the marches of the Grand Duchy of Reme (specifically Waymarch) plays into it with Waymark* cavalry popping up all over the place in BG's interests.

Greg

*Just and an FYI, Waymark is the demonym for folk of the Duchy of the Waymarch and the adjectival demonym for folk-related things of the Waymarch (i.e. troops of cavalry, etc.). Waymarch remains the normal adjectival demonym for non-sentient things from the Waymarch.

Thank Greg. I knew it was coming up but did not remember that it was that soon. I really look forward to it. I should delve more into the 3.5 book for my current campaign being that is where the group is hanging out these days.

Guys, I did not know BG was in the works. I don't work for or with FGG.

Wouldn't be adverse to being associated again like at NTRPG Con.

It is okay Brother Silverhair. I am still open to your conversation if it is already done. And also excited for the official conversation next year.

Hi Guys,

I've been out all week, so I'm just now seeing these. Thanks to Silverhair to giving me a heads up.

For the technical questions about Backerkit and stuff, I'll ping Chris and see if we can get you your answers. Not sure what the holdup is. I'd imagine Chris can help you fix your pledges/undo changes you've made, though I don't know the particulars of the tech side. It seems like he's usually able to do that kind of stuff.

The prices/options in Backerkit should all be fixed now, but if you still see discrepancies let us know.

Thanks!

Greg

Hey Greg, first, just thanks. Even if the techny things aren't your bag of tricks just getting someone involved can help a lot. So thanks. We'll go check things out tonight and hopefully everything is squared away. :)

Hi guys,

I don't know what Chris has done or hasn't done yet to deal with your issues (he didn't fill me in on that much detail), but he asks that if you are still having issues to fill out the support form at https://www.froggodgames.com/support is the best way to get ahold of him for this stuff.

If there are still issues after that, let me know and I'll keep poking.

Thanks again!

I'm checking with Chuck on the status of the pdfs for Cults of the Sundered Kingdoms, the player's guide, Fields of Blood, Cyclopean Deeps 2, and the Tales of the Lost Lands packs. I'll post what I find out.

Thank you for your continued patience.

Greg
