For what it's worth, my only regret with FGG products is only purchasing the "Quests of Doom" and "Lost Book of Spells" as PDFs from that KS as opposed to their hardcover versions. The quality of the other FGG hardcovers that I have purchased (Slumbering Tsar, Stoneheart Vally, and Lost City of Barakus") have been outstanding. I cannot say enough good about them.

Thanks, Agena!

3 days!! New player's guide sample posted over at the Kickstarter page. Less than 3k to unlock the Player's Guide.

If you've been on the fence or know someone who hasn't seen this but might like it, now's the time. Thanks!

I would never mess with Malag.... NEVER.

Just 66 hours left and a little over $2000 to get the Players' Guide PDF. It can be done, folks.

Scarab Sages

If someone took the last Temple pledge, we'd almost reach the Player's Guide PDF goal

Yep, hopefully we should make it, especially if people have put on their "Remind Me" buttons.

55 hours and still just over $2000 for the Players' Guide.

I was holding off to see if I could add in extra money on Backerkit and thus get more of it to the Frogs, but I'd like to see us get to the Player's Guide. I'd LOVE to see us get to the second batch of fiction.

I am going to up my pledge to include my Backerkit extras on the front end. That will help us to get a bit closer to the stretch goals.

Under $800 to go, so 15-16 backers, come on guys....

;)

Back on the internet after a couple of months, moving to the warm and beautiful sea (as I type this I am looking out over the estuary and sea :D ) However that means a massive mortgage and no frivolous expenditures for a while, $65 shipping is a killer :(. But popping in to wish you the best of luck and I hope to be able to pick up copies of this (and further kickstarters) in the future. I'll be twitching that my FGG/Necro collection isn't complete!

Good luck guys :D

One PDF pledge will fund the Players' Guide. WOOT!

Players Guide is in the bag. Life is good...

Part 2 of the fiction is up next.

Not having had to deal with add-ons before, do they need to be added before the end of the kickstarter, or can you put them on with the Backerkit survey?

Earlier in the Kickstarter Greg said either way was fine with them. Adding it in now helps with the Stretch goals, but doing it when you get the Backerkit survey means FGG gets more of the money.

The player guide is a lot of fun; I think people will like it.

You tease. :P

I am at NTRPG Con. It is simply amazing and the FGG crew is totally great.

Ah, so that's why it's so quiet here... :)

Last game of the Con and then drive back to Houston. Met Larry Elmore and bought his book and some prints. Introduced myself to Jeff Dee and Wolfgang Baur.

I am safe at home and am reflecting on this past weekend. It was a pleasure to get to go to NTRPG Con. I feel honored to have been given the chance to meet all of the FGG people, and I need to include Jeff Dee, Larry Elmore, Wolfgang Baur, and others I don't know their names but they knew mine. As to why they knew mine I have no earthly idea. I am nothing special, just a Player/GM.

I ran the BBEG in Greg Vaughn's last game this afternoon. It was fun.

FGG if you read this I again say Thank You for a very fine time. It was an honor.

That sounds like a tremendous time. Congrats on a memorable experience!

After sitting through the planning session with you and Greg, I wish I could have stuck around longer to see you put the beat down on those meddlesome PCs. Still, there's always next year.

Sorry for not mentioning meeting you. Yes, I would have loved to see your PC die horribly. Hopefully I can attend next year. I look forward to the Fields of Blood.

Still not sure how to pronounce your last name.

There wasn't a real need for me to do anything because Greg had written a very deceitful entrance encounter. I just made a couple of suggestions and sat back and watched the chaos begin.

The Con was a blast, and we had a great time with Silverhair! Thanks again!

This week is all con recovery and working on the book. I'm going over the final proofs for the books and the player's guide and then it's off to the printer.

Definitely, Tom!

With the Backerkits now out, don't orget to add on Fields of Blood and/or Ccyclopean Deeps 2. CD 1 and Dunes of Desolation are both on sale as part of the kickstarter.

Yes I know. Shameless plug. But you won't be disappointed. Fields of Blood is 221 pages of grassland goodness.

My backerkit survey wouldnt work. It kept opening in Chrome and telling me my browser had some extension which stopped java working properly - except chrome tells me I have no extensions, so I cant do anything about it. Cutting and pasting the link into internet explorer just results in a fresh email which forces me to use chrome.

:(

Greg I have a quick question.

Is Cyclopean Deeps 2 part of the original 24 Month Subscription?

On that note I just noticed I never got my PDFs for that in my account.

So looking at the Backerkit survey (yeah, late I know). The players guide is $7.50 (for just the softcover), not $5 for the softcover & pdf as mentioned in the KS. Is this because it includes shipping to non-US, or just a price increase?

EDIT: Nevermind, not really relevant.
When's the next KS? :P

So, I made a brainfart when I forgot to add Fields of Blood to my Backerkit thing. Backerkit tells me that my pledge has been locked and I'm unable to add anything at this point.

Is there anything that can be done about that...?

My understanding was that we didn't make it to the printed players guide, so they still threw it in as an option (since it was highly requested) but had to adjust the price since that funding level wasn't met.

Heine - backerkit doesn't close till 8/1/15, so there should be a way to go back in and still make changes. I'm sure one of the Elder minds will wander in from beyond time and space (and their day jobs) to clarify.

I know in the past I could just start my backer kit all over again - maybe click on the old link or request a new one. As a matter of fact, if I recall every time I checked the website it would start all over again.

Aux, after I saw the post mentioning the Players' Guide I was able to go back to the email that asked for me to fill out the survey and get to the cart edit and add the PG. So it is able to be done.

Yup, figured out how to update my Backerkit. :)

I'm on fire today!

So I pledged for digital rewards, and I was notified that I'm unable to add physical products because of my digital-only Kickstarter pledge. I didn't see said notification until after I'd completed my Backerkit update to include a hardcover of Fields of Blood.

Just one of those days, it seems...

Did anyone notice any price differences for add-ons on the KS page versus what was in the Backerkit? I sent some emails to FGG but haven't heard back yet, so we haven't been able to lock in our stuff yet for this one.

There were some, as well as a missing combo deal that I think got straightened out. For me it was the maps, and those definitely were fixed when I submitted mine.

I emailed Frog God with the above question almost a week ago, normally they reply quickly. Hopefully everything is ok. I am holding off on completing my backerkit until I have an answer.

Cyclopean Deeps 2 is part of the original 24 month subscription. It came up when I was talking to Bill a few weeks ago.

Do you know if that volume is the end of the subscription, Shem? (I presume so, but I didnt really pay attention).

Scarab Sages

It is the end of the subscription that we paid for way back when....

And the Frogs have said many times that they will not do another subscription model.

But they have also said that RA will continue to be expanded but have not talked more about those plans.

And of course they are working on a lot of new stuff.

I look forward to it all.

Crap. I forgot CD2 was part of a subscription.

I hope I can fix my pledge....

I sent an email through the KS, one to the FGG email and here, but still nothing as of today. :( We're waiting on the backerkit until we figure out where the difference is.

Hi Guys,

I've been out all week, so I'm just now seeing these. Thanks to Silverhair to giving me a heads up.

For the technical questions about Backerkit and stuff, I'll ping Chris and see if we can get you your answers. Not sure what the holdup is. I'd imagine Chris can help you fix your pledges/undo changes you've made, though I don't know the particulars of the tech side. It seems like he's usually able to do that kind of stuff.

The prices/options in Backerkit should all be fixed now, but if you still see discrepancies let us know.

I believe CD2 is the end of the original CD subscription. If Bill told this to Shem, then that makes me feel more sure. I wasn't involved in the subscription stuff so I'm not aware of all the details, but I'll ping Matt. He'll know on the CD stuff since he's the writer. :-)

Heine Stick, I'm not sure what to do about the digital rewards thing, but maybe Chris can sort that out too.

Dragnmoon, Chris will be able to get you those pdfs. You should have received them by now, so we'll be sure to get them to you.

Steve, we need to get that sorted out for you too.

I'm sorry that I'm not of more use on the technical question side of things. Unfortunately all those kinds of crunchy bits are handled by Chris and are beyond my abilities to resolve. I will make sure he's seeing these though. Since I've been gone the last week on vacation with the fam I haven't spoken to any of my fellow Frogs to see what's up.

Anyone have questions on Lost Lands lore? I'm really good with those. :-)

I'll start poking nests and stomping in mud puddles to see what I can stir up on the other issues.

Thanks!

Greg
